This is truly off the normal tourist path but if you are in the area take the time and climb the hill to enjoy this location.
Interesting but mysterious place
We are holidaying in Schliersee and caught a bus out to Fischbachau to have a look around and see the churches there . We did the nice walk up the hill enjoying the snow around us and came to Birkens...
Interesting religious spot
Even if you are not religious or without any confession it is worth to visit this small not overcrowded location of pilgrimage....as there is only small narrow road not many tourist buses are targetin...
