    Fascinating History

    Well worth stopping to check this ship wreck out. Information panels at the site give some great history on our the lighthouse at Vlamingh Head can to be.

    Mildura lives on

    For 100+ year old wreck it is still in reasonable condition. Was cirtainly the catalyst for the lighthouse at that time. Tide was coming in so there were waves breaking over the wreck.
