A pretty view and a shop of local specialties
We liked stopping here on the way to Iwamura. The views of the area were pretty, the demonstration wheel is huge and the adjoining shop has local produce and specialties for sale at very reasonable p...
Fantastic nature experience with a giant water-wheel and friendly helpers. The lunch sets and ice cream are nutritious and budget-friendly. Lots of produce souvenir shopping!
I stopped by on the way back from the lunch I was looking for. After arriving, I learned that lunch is famous here as well. There was a huge water wheel that could only be seen in a Ferris wheel when viewed from a distance, and the scenery is outstanding. It's in the mountains, so it's a perfect place to take a break.
It is a roadside station with a huge water wheel that makes you think it's a Ferris wheel. There is a dam next to it and you can enjoy the scenery as if you were looking down. As a roadside station, the scale was not large and there were few vegetables, but there were plenty of handmade side dishes such as boiled beans and rolled sushi.
It is a place where you can relax with a very nice view to stop by for a drive. The largest water wheel in Japan is a masterpiece. There is also a Korigawa Dam just a short walk away, so you can take a walk to the dam. The famous sweet and spicy Gohei mochi in Gifu and Aichi is very delicious with walnuts.
