Skriðuklaustur has several different things to offer. The main house is very large and quite unusual by Icelandic standards. It was built by the author Gunnar Gunnarsson in 1939 and now houses a museu...

This building and grounds are situated in a beautiful setting. Interesting museum and grounds/ruins. Fabulous lunch!!!!
