Durnstein Castle

When we climbed the castle, a few of us didn't know what it was for and what kind of historical story was behind it. But when we climbed to the top, we could see the beautiful scenery of the Danube.

Passing through this town along the way to the castle. After walking through the ancient stone road, the road became more and more difficult to walk, and it was rarely repaired at first sight. The castle was dilapidated at the top of the mountain not far away.

The castle ruins were completely unexpected, because it was hot when visiting the town, and not far from the mountain behind it was the ruins of the castle. The lion king Richard had been imprisoned here for two years.

Located on the hilltop next to the town of Deanstein, the castle dates back a thousand years, best known for imprisoned the defeated British Lion King Charles I. The road to the top of the mountain is not easy, it takes about half an hour. The view from above is very good overlooking the Danube.

Deanstein Castle was once a major military fortress on the Danube. Now only his frame is left, like the Haiyunguan in Vietnam. The glory of the year is vaguely visible here. Worth a visit.
