What travelers say:

On Qingcheng Mountain, enter from the gate of Dachitian Palace. There are two stone monuments on the left and right sides of the road. Go further and enter Donghua Palace. Donghua Palace belongs to part of the Laojun Pavilion complex. It is dedicated to Donghua Emperor, Zhengyang Zushi Zhong Liquan, and Chunyang Zushi Lu Dongbin. Go around Donghua Palace and continue to move forward, and see the magnificent old king's pavilion looming in the shade of the front. This altitude of 1260 meters above the top of Pengzu is originally built with a view of the sun pavilion (Huying Pavilion), and you can see the natural beauty of Qingcheng sunrise, sea of clouds and divine lights in the pavilion. Later, the pavilion was abandoned and a new six-story pavilion of 33 meters was built. Laojun Pavilion is the highest point of Qingcheng Qianshan, also known as Pengzu Peak, or Gaotai Mountain, Laoding Dome, Baoding, with an altitude of 1260 meters. Laojun Pavilion is a pagoda-shaped spire of pagodas, with a total of nine floors. There is a giant statue of Taishang Laojun riding a green cow in the hollow attic. The statue of Laojun Pavilion is modeled on Xu Beihong's legacy "Purple Qi Donglai" in Qingcheng. It has been carefully studied by many scholars, artists and connoisseurs, and was painted and shaped by Qingcheng Mountain Road Friends. The statue of Laojun is 13 meters high and 16 meters high. Sitting like a body with steel cement cast, in a fine copper bag. Laozi's eyes are bright and lifelike. Laojun Pavilion looks like a tower, top, and three round treasures in the middle, with the meaning of "three light", to show the world, the earth, and the people. This is the circle above you, with eight corners on the floor, which means the place of the world and the meaning of Taiji gossip. The grassroots of Laojun Pavilion is built with stone on the mountain to create a staggered platform and a slow railing in the sea. The Pavilion Zhou is divided up and down stairs for visitors to go directly to the top of the Pavilion. The 2008 Wenchuan earthquake knocked Laojun Pavilion down. Fortunately, Qingcheng Mountain soon rebuilt the old Jun Pavilion up to 42 meters on the original site and opened to the outside world. It can be seen that the rich financial resources of Qingcheng Mountain Taoist resort are not comparable to the famous mountains!
