Dublin Castle

The gold and silver jewels used to hold the king. Now, the gold and silver jewels are gone, and the castle stands old and strong. The castle hall in the middle, once the residence of the British Governor, is now the site of important events. The 18th century building next to the castle is the town hall.

Went for the tour and it was really good. Lots of rooms and a chapel. Tour guide was very informative - had lots of story of the history of the castle as well as recent facts!
