It's become a habit to go every year. It is more affordable to have more people during the New Year.
There are beautiful scenery and ruins! If you want to go, you can take the bus to Guancun at Dazhou West Passenger Transport Station and get off at the checkpoint outside the Tieshan Tunnel (don't cross the Tieshan Tunnel). Then go to the farmhouse road on the left. It is best to drive by yourself.
