Yuelai Old Town

Yuelai Ancient Town is only 8 kilometers away from the county seat. It has a long history here. It is also the gateway from Dayi County to Xiling Snow Mountain, alpine ski resort, Huashuiwan Hot Spring Resort, the birthplace of Taoism - Heming Mountain, and the early spread of Taoism - Wuzhong Mountain of the throat. Yuelai Ancient Town is not big, with only four streets. The main ancient buildings are mainly concentrated on Yuelai Main Street and Heba Street, and most of them are in the style of small towns in western Sichuan. There is also a very small temple on Heba Street, which is called "Zhang Dafuzi Temple" by the locals. The legend is to commemorate the good local people who rebuilt the street and houses. At the end of Heba Street is the Helin Bridge Iron Lock Bridge built in 1920. Walking on it is still a swaying feeling. You can drink a bowl of scented tea in a small tea shop at Qiaotou, watch the locals play the long Sichuan card leisurely, and feel the coziness of the ancient town.
