Cailiang Mountain

Located in Changcheng Township, Yanggao County, it is the "Xiyan Snow Cover", one of the eight scenic spots in Yanggao in the past. In ancient times, it was called Hezhen Mountain, Hegan Mountain, and Herb Collection Mountain. Cailiang Mountain is famous for its steep peaks, unusually high cold and snow in winter and summer. "Collection of cool snow" is one of the eight scenic spots in Datong, and there is an aria of "horses neighing across the top of the silver mountain, birds are tired and frightened and fly over the jade branches". Bullfinch, chinchilla, falcon and other birds inhabit the mountain, and small animals such as squirrels and hares can often be seen. The famous scenic spot is the Red Rock Cliff. There is a Taoist temple under the red rock cliff, named Taixuan Temple.
