Easy flat path to the river
It was an easy stroll down to the river where across it could be seen the midden pile. Lots of trees and flowers in bloom. The history is interesting so read about it first!

notbreathtaking in any way, but welcome for the peaceful setting. we walked in through a wildflower meadow on side opposite of the Middens. (Beware the Tussock caterpillars on the milkweed!)
