In 1978, in 1982, the State Administration of Cultural Relics organized the largest maintenance of the three towers since Ming Jiajing. More than 680 cultural relics were found on the top of the Chisun Tower (known as the Tiangong in Buddhism), the tower and other parts, which is the most abundant and valuable of the cultural relics found in Nanxun and Dali so far.
