Coffin Bay National Park Highlights: Must-See Features and Attractions
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate
Coffin Bay National Park (TheCoffinBayNationalPark) has a special coastal scenery in South Australia. The scenery is spectacular, from ancient granite, limestone and sandstone cliffs to long beaches covered in white sand. The park's views are strikingly contrasting, with the unprotected side of the peninsula revealing rugged headlands, limestone cliffs and islands carved out by the Southern Ocean and southwest monsoons. The leeward side is calmer by comparison and has a safe swimming beach. It is also a place for strolling, fishing and boating. The national park is rich in wildlife such as western grey kangaroos, emus, snakes and dolphins in the bay. We even caught Australian salmon at Almonta Beach!

Coffins Nat park
Lovely coast line and scrub of national park as long as u r prepared for bumpy ride getting there! Allow 6 hours to cover all of park and put tyres down once on 4wd track.
This national park is huge! We drove for quite awhile through it and felt like we just touched the tip of it. Beautiful views from the spots we stopped at. Was great to see lots of emus and kangaroos....
Absolutely breathtaking. You can drive the whole track but some dirt roads leading to the beaches are only 4WD, however, there are boards guiding you. Beautiful beyond belief.
The best feature of the Coffin Bay area. Absolutely beautiful, well laid out a highlight of our trip so far. Would love to spend more time in the park 4WDing and swimming.
A great wilderness experience in some of the 4WD tracks around this national park. Beaches and sheltered bays, rugged cliffs ,wild waves and sand dunes.pack a picnic and head on out!
