Seeing various travel guides for Qiandao Lake online, I really feel some are unreliable. Taking advantage of the season when spring is warm and flowers are blooming, I made another trip to Qiandao Lake, and this time I had an even more thorough experience. I've summarized a few must-visit spots for everyone's reference! 1️⃣ Central Lake District/Southeast Lake District of Qiandao Lake There are thousands of islands within Qiandao Lake, and the Central and Southeast Lake Districts have eight islands where you can land and play, with a tour time of about 7 hours. If you have plenty of time, I suggest visiting both lake districts; if you're short on time, you can choose one to focus on. I personally recommend the Southeast Lake District! 📍 Southeast Lake District (Guihua Island, Tianchi Island, Huangshanjian) 📍 Central Lake District (Meifeng Island, Yule Island, Moonlight Island, Longshan Island) It's recommended to purchase boat tickets in advance (💰55/person, add 💰33 to upgrade to the second floor). The daily flight times are 8:00, 9:30, 12:00, and yachts are more expensive, not recommended. ✔️ Guihua Island: There are many monkeys on the island, be careful as they may snatch things, it's best not to bring food to avoid being scratched! You can buy feed to feed them (💰10/pack). ✔️ Tianchi Island: The island is large, mainly to see fish and parrots, there are also performances to watch, and you can feed them. ✔️ Huangshanjian: It takes about 10 minutes to walk, or you can take the cable car up (💰50/person), where you can see the shape of Qiandao Lake forming the words 'The world is for the public'. 2️⃣ Qiandao Lake Tianyu Mountain Scenic Area 📍Navigate to 'Tianyu Mountain Viewing Platform', drive a few hundred meters forward from the parking lot 🅿️ (💰5/hour), and you can go directly up the mountain. This is the best spot to watch the sunset over Qiandao Lake. You can walk the whole way up and down the mountain, or choose the uphill elevator (💰25/person), and the downhill bus (💰10/person). The whole trip takes about an hour and a half, with three viewing platforms. The first platform has an average view, but the second and third are definitely worth seeing. When the weather is clear, every shot is a beautiful photo! 3️⃣ Qiandao Lake Cycling Trail Cycling around the lake is so comfortable! The scenery along the way is beautiful, and you can occasionally see motorcycle teams speeding by! The lake circuit (see picture 10) is over 100 kilometers in total. I finally came to the other side of the Anywhere Door, the Tianyu scenic area of Qiandao Lake. ❤Recommended Reason: The Tianyu scenic area is located to the north adjacent to the Northeast Lake District and the Gandaohu Bridge, and to the south it connects to the central urban area of Qiandao Lake Town, forming an urban tourism scenic area that integrates "mountains, lake, and city". 👍Most Recommended: Tianyu Mountain has an elevation of 335 meters, where visitors can take the domestic elevator with the highest single lifting height and the longest single length, the "Number One Elevator in China" landscape escalator, to reach the viewing platform directly. Those with good physical strength can also walk up the mountain. 🌟Highlight Features: From the top of Tianyu Dawn, you can look far into the distance and see the lush mountains of Gandaohu scattered like stars in a chessboard, with a cityscape of mountains and half a lake view all in sight, offering a refreshing and exhilarating experience. The superb natural landscape is like a fairyland.

At Qiandao Lake, the place where you can see the "entire view" of Qiandao Lake is Tianyu Mountain. There is a Pearl Viewing Park on the top of Tianyu Mountain, where you can overlook the islets in Qiandao Lake. If you want to see the "entire view" of Qiandao Lake, this is the right place to go～🤗 💡Recommended reasons: 1⃣No need to climb mountains, the altitude is not high, it takes less than 10 minutes by car to directly reach the Pearl Viewing Park, and just a few steps from the car to the wooden structure-built viewing platform... 2⃣Climb high and gaze far, breathe fresh air, the scenery here is nice, besides the various islets, there are also the golden tops of temples, and the bridge that spans across Qiandao Lake... 3⃣Of course, if you like sports, you can also choose to climb the mountain via the hiking trail. The slope of the mountain road is not steep, and it's also nice to walk... 4⃣Suitable for photography, there are several photography spots drawn by the Qiandao Lake photography base here, even the angles are chosen for you, no need to worry about not being able to take great shots... 📌Ticket: The viewing platform is free of charge and open to the public... 🥘Travel time: The main reason to go up Tianyu Mountain is to see the lake view. Qiandao Lake, having been there n times, the first place I think of when summer comes is Qiandao Lake. It's really a great destination for a getaway around Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai! The main attraction is the laid-back, Buddhist-style tour~ leisurely spending a weekend! I have to say, Qiandao Lake is really suitable for finding a high cost-effective lakeside room to relax on vacation. This time, we all agreed that staying at Liwo was especially joyful! The rooms are big, and the decor is Nordic minimalist style😸. Mainly, besides the comfortable living environment, there are several terraces with lake views🏕. Eating, chatting, and enjoying the lake view is just too comfortable!!! You can choose to play selectively or buy a joint ticket. Beer museum ticket is 80r. 2️⃣Qiandao Lake's popular lighthouse Right across from the beer town, it's beautiful for photos. If you just want to see the lighthouse, navigate to Qiandao Lake Lighthouse, you can park on the roadside for a bit, no charge. If you want to visit the beer town, park in the beer town parking lot, 5💰/h, and walk to the lighthouse. 3️⃣Tianyu Scenic Area Ticket🎫: 50💰, you can climb the mountain, or take the scenic elevator up for 30💰, the scenery is beautiful. Downhill bus is 10💰 or forest water slide is 150💰, you need to climb a bit further to reach the second viewing platform to take the slide. Raincoats will be provided, so don't worry about getting wet. Buying a joint ticket can save 20, need to purchase 30 minutes in advance. There are many mosquitoes on the mountain, so be mindful of mosquito repellent. 4️⃣Boat trips to the islands ①Central Lake Area: The highlight is Meifeng Island.
