The Peace Bell is situated in a lovely quiet and peaceful location on the Botanic Gardens in Christchurch. It is rung on World Peace Day in September and on other special NZ and Japanese memorial days...

Peace

The bell has world peace written on it surrounded by the beautiful trees of the botanical gardens. Hitting the bell with my palms makes the peaceful sound you would expect.

At odds with surroundings
