This was an interesting art piece, the imprint of Japanese writing (I think) was ok. It was peaceful around it being that it was in a botanical gardens.

The bell has world peace written on it surrounded by the beautiful trees of the botanical gardens. Hitting the bell with my palms makes the peaceful sound you would expect.
This bell is a gesture of goodwill between Japan and NZ and as such is to be respected but it sort of sits at odds with it's surroundings in the Botanic Gardens near the bridge to the daffodil fields ...
