A must do when Visiting Charters Towers
This place is awesome!! So much to look at and learn about gold panning and prospecting. We totally enjoyed the experience as a family and came away with some gold.
This is a cute little cottage that has been kept in it’s original condition and gives a good insight into the living conditions when the mine was active. I think this would have been one of the better...

An interesting place to visit. The guy who runs the place was really informative. Don't think it was worth $10 entrance fee.
