Lots of gators!
Disappointed the visitor center was closed. This was on a Friday. The restrooms were open. So was the gift shop/boat tour sign up. We walked around the area & saw a couple of guys fishing the canal....
Great area, visitors' center closed though
This place is cool. It is $5 to get in. You can pay extra to rent canoe or take boat tour. There is the Chesser Homestead. We could not get inside the homestead when we were there, but did walk around...
Probably my favorite Okefenokee experience
If you are looking for a good sized park with tours into the Okefenokee, a tower, wild life and history than this is your park. The $5 entrance fee seems like a pittance given all of the options here....
