Changsha Daguancang Art Museum is located in the Daguan Center of the Environmental Protection Technology Park in Yuhua District, Changsha City, Hunan Province. It is a private museum that mainly collects ancient Chinese artworks and is also an emerging cultural business card of the south city.
Changsha Daguancang Art Museum has a rich collection. In the past, it has cooperated with the Hunan Museum three times to hold three high-quality exhibitions: "Harmonious Family - Family Life and Beliefs in Figure Paintings since the Ming and Qing Dynasties", "All Rivers Return to the Sea - Figure Images and Cultural Fusion in the Ming and Qing Dynasties", and "Unlimited Beauty - Literature and Female Images in Figure Paintings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties". The exhibitions have been loved and recognized by the audience.
Currently, "All Rivers Return to the Sea - Figure Images and Cultural Integration in the Ming and Qing Dynasties" and "Unlimited Beauty - Literature and Female Images in Figure Paintings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties" are on display as the opening exhibitions of Changsha Daguancang Art Museum. The two exhibitions read history from different perspectives, allowing people to see the profound cultural context that extends to the present day, and feel the wisdom contained in ancient calligraphy and paintings and artifacts; they also allow people to see women who are caged but refuse to surrender, commemorate their suffering, and affirm their contributions to civilization and ideological progress.
