Xiaochangshan Island

Xiaochangshan Island is located in the central area of Changshan Islands, 54 nautical miles from Dalian City and 1.6 kilometers from Dachangshan Island, the seat of Changhai County Government. The Xiaochangshan Island Scenic Spot consists of 28 islands, mounds and reefs including Xiaochangshan Island, Wumang Island and Balong Island. Xiaochangshan Island has beautiful scenery and fresh air. The island is undulating with rolling hills, lush green trees, and mountains and seas. There are many deep reefs and abundant fish resources along the coast. It is a sea fishing base in China. Xiaochangshan Island is located in the "Ocean Island Fishing Ground", with vast waters and rich resources, and enjoys the reputation of "Godsend Fishing Town". Compared with Dachangshan Island, Xiaochangshan Island has finer sand and clearer water. Here, Dachangshan Island is only a 5-minute sea voyage. The ships going and coming are ro-ro ships. The board is like a suspension bridge on a moat. The pads are placed on the beach. Passengers can get on and off freely. . There is a natural bath with clean sand and clean water on the island, which is a good place for locals who are used to getting in the tide for morning exercises. Flocks of seagulls play or circle on the reef not far away. When the tide is high, the sea water gently flows over the beach, carrying a few green kelp. The shore beach is where fishermen dry their kelp. The islands and reefs at the northeastern end of Xiaochangshan Island face each other across the water when the tide is high, and when the tide recedes, they are connected again. It is a good place for fishing and catching the sea. The movie "Secret Drawings" is based on the leak of the drawings of the submarine dock on Xiaochangshan Island. In 1962 after the Battle of Zhenbao Island, in order to strengthen its strength, the Chinese People's Navy built a submarine dock in Dahegou, east of Xiaochangshan Island. Now it has become a place for cage culture. The water dock is 1,000 meters long, 15 meters wide, 12 meters deep, and 20 meters from the top of the cave. Visitors can row a small wooden boat into this unique "lightless world", use a flashlight, hold your breath, and paddle the water with the paddle. The sound of clattering, peeping at the thick moss on the walls of the secluded cave, the floats of the cage floated together in the dark and secluded water, it was a different kind of fun.
