The king of Portugal also moved his summer resort here, building a residence and five castles, and it has since become a resort. Portugal was a neutral country in World War II, and the Allies and Axis had a large presence in Cascais to gather political and economic intelligence, which was a huge spy. The British Duke of Windsor, who loved beauty and didn't love the mountains, escaped from the stalking and kidnapping of Nazi German agents and fled to Bermuda. Portugal's famous seaside resort, Cascais Bond novels author Ian Fleming was a famous British agent on World War II West Street, where Cascais was the main site of his work. Today's weather is colder, the wind is particularly strong, but the beautiful scenery left a deep impression on us!
It is beautiful, very Portuguese style, beautiful but modest, small beach, with seaside roads stretching for several kilometers to Estoril and further afield. The beach with the biggest wind and waves is very close and is the best surfing place in Europe. The magic of Portugal, many people have not been there. Very pleasant surprise.
I have been here twice, every time I go to Chengdu, I don’t want to go, the beautiful coastline, the hospitable Portuguese, the price is close to the people, the seafood food... Portugal has too many reasons to stop.
This is a very beautiful small town, a blue city with blue sky and blue sea. There are many private yachts docked on the pier. It is very pleasant to blow the sea breeze under the blue sky and sun.
