The view from the Caen Castle Terrace is spectacular and the architecture is majestic, although more works are added each year to tell some interesting history, even including some works by artists of the twentieth century, and there is a statue of Mary in the square below the castle.

ChteaudeCaen Caen Caen is located on the dome in the center of Caen. Historically, it was built by the Duke of Norman in 1060. It was built by William the Conqueror of France. His son Henry I later expanded it. After many vicissitudes, it was destroyed. Inside is St. George's Church (gliseSaint-Georges), Salledel''chiquier), medicinal garden. The Musé edesbeaux-artsdeCaen) houses the works of Rubens, Van Dyke, Rembrandt, Chirico, Dracrowa and others. It is a 20-minute walk from the train station.
