Welcome to Haeundae Blue Line Park.
Haeundae Blue Line Park is an eco-friendly redevelopment of the old railway facilities of the Donghae Nambu Line, a 4.8km section from Haeundae Mipo to Cheongsapo to Songjeong.
It is a key tourist facility in the Haeundae Special Tourist Zone in Busan, an international tourist city that operates the Haeundae Beach Train and Haeundae Sky Capsule along the beautiful coastal scenery.
The road from Gudeokpo at Deokpo Station to Mipo via Cheongsapo is called Haeundae Sampo Road. It is an area with beautiful reeds and strangely shaped rocks, and now there are many restaurants and cafes with a unique atmosphere, making it a great area to make memories while leisurely admiring the sea.
Songjeong Beach at Songjeong Station is one of the three major beaches in Dongbusan and is popular as a family summer resort due to its shallow water and gentle slope. In addition, surfers flock here all year round, and it is in the spotlight as a mecca for surfing, to the point where celebrities joke that if you take a photo at Songjeong Beach, it will be indistinguishable from Waikiki Beach in Hawaii.

There are two sightseeing train options from Haeundae Blueline Park, the Sky Capsule, and Haeundae Beach Train. The Haeundae Beach Train runs from Mipo to Songjeong, while the Sky Capsule runs from Mipo to Cheongsapo. This sky capsule has been all the rage on TikTok and IG recently and highly recommend taking this over beach train. The sky capsule moves at a leisure pace of 5 km/h, offering beautiful views of the ocean. The entire 2km track between Mipo and Cheongsapo takes about 25 - 30 minutes. This is one of the favorite things to do in Haeundae Beach, Busan, South Korea.
Very beautiful and scenic place that deserves a visit! After riding the sky capsule, we walked along the trail and visited this stunning and free observatory! I visited it once with my friend and brought my parents the next year because it was that worth it! I think the tickets for the sky capsule can be hard to get so good to book in advance to avoid disappointment!
this place is interesting! very scenic and the sunset was beautiful! the view from the capsule is nice! and strolling along the wooden path gives different view.
