We've been boating out to Knife Island since we were kids, and my own children have camped out there several times. There's a channel near the southern end which is warm, shallow, and safe for swimmin...
Needs TLC
A boat is required to visit the lighthouse up close, though the many islands in Stokes Bay make for some scenic views along the way. Hopefully the light will get a fresh coat of paint in future.
