This attraction is not advertised on the guidebook and local map so my expectations are low. But it’s awesome! I took a lot of photos. The garden is beautiful, covering two acres of annual and perennial plants, and waterfall views over the rock formations. Visitors can walk on colorful, textured stone roads. There are lounge areas, pavilions and small bridges in the garden. At the entrance there is a historic stone pavilion built at the beginning of the creation of the Canadian National Park System. The stone government building stands next to the garden, in the center of Banff Avenue. There is free parking and plenty of parking spaces. Great garden, definitely worth seeing.
