St Mary Redcliffe Church

A marvellous gothic church with an extremely interesting history. The Mary Redcliffe is just a short walk from the harbourside. Though it is old, the church has a lovely warm feeling. You are made welcome straight away by the volunteers who provide you with a laminated guide which you return before leaving. There are some fascinating stained glass windows and you must see the wooden altar shaped as a boat. This is a working parish church with a difference.

the church is located on the roadside, it looks very attractive and historical, anyway ir needs some maintenace.

Built in 1140, it is one of the oldest and best preserved Gothic churches in Britain. Located in the pleasant College Green Garden downtown. The "rib" dome structure inside the church is unique in Britain.

St Mary's Red Cliff Church in Bristol is on a cloudy day in Bristol, cloudy days make the church look more solemn.

The scenery is pleasant, very good choice, I like this place very much!

On the way from the railway station to the downtown area, the church, as a necessary passage, is particularly noticeable. Perhaps the whole building looks much taller because of a relatively high terrace on the side of the road. The huge bell tower has become the highest point around, and the overall architectural style of the church is relatively heavy. The stairs go in and the beautifully designed glass catches the eye.
