Zhanhua Ancient City

The Ancient City Cultural Tourism Zone has officially signed a self-driving tour cooperation Attraction. Zhanhua Ancient City is a thousand-year-old town with a profound historical and cultural heritage. Since its establishment in 1042, it was first called Zhao'an County, and then Zhanhua County, referred to as Zhancheng. In 1957, the county seat moved east to Fuguo, and in 1982 Zhancheng was renamed Ancient City. More than 10 historical sites and cultural sites such as the old county government, Wenfengtai, and Confucian Temple have been preserved to this day, and intangible cultural heritage such as Bohai drums, paper-cuts, and mandarin ducks marrying old sculptures have been preserved among the people. The scenic spots of the "Cultural Ancient City" tourist Attraction are: First, Wenxuanfang. At the entrance of the "Cultural Ancient City" Kuixing Tower Attraction, the stone archway standing tall has the stone characters "Wenxuanfang" engraved on it dazzlingly; the second is Wende Bridge. There are seven steps in total, which are homophonic with "seven" and "start", implying the meaning of climbing step by step in literary attainments; the third is Kuixing Tower. It is 27.7 meters high, with 47 steps in total, which is also the homonym of 7. It houses the statue of Kuixing, the god of literature and writing in mythology. It was unveiled and put into use on October 4, 2010. The fourth is Wenfeng Terrace. In the southeast of Nanhu Scenic Bay, there is an earthen platform with a radius of about 50 meters and a height of more than 10 meters. The famous Wenfeng Terrace stands, which is in harmony with the Kuixing Tower on the top of the city. The fifth is the Confucian Temple. It was a place for cultivating talents in ancient times. The main building, the Dacheng Hall, is 28 meters long, 14 meters wide and 13 meters high. It officially received tourists on October 1, 2014. There is a statue of Confucius in the main entrance of the Dacheng Hall, and four statues are set on both sides. Visiting the Confucian Temple can be deeply influenced by Confucian culture. The sixth is the charm of Nanhu. Since ancient times, there is no bottom in drought and no overflow in flood, which is amazing. The seventh is the Zhanhua Folk Customs Museum. A comprehensive tour of Zhanhua from past to present. The eighth is the People's Drum Academy. Bohai Drum has a unique style, "talking about the past and the present, telling all the flavors of the world, stirring up the muddy and promoting the clear, and inheriting the national culture". Each scenic spot in the "Cultural Ancient City" relies on different carriers, and each carrier has its own characteristics, showing the rich connotation of the history and culture of the ancient city from different aspects.
