There are more than 10 historical sites and cultural relics in the cultural ancient city, including the old county government office, Wenfengtai, and Confucian Temple. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were 127 juren, 40 jinshi, and 385 gongsheng. The hometown of Martin Rukui, the Minister of War of the Ming Dynasty, is Guanzhuang Village in Gucheng Town. The historical facts such as four jinshi in the same list, brothers in the same list, three jinshi in father and son, father and son won two top places, and the same red scroll are recorded in the history books. Intangible cultural heritages such as Bohai drum, paper-cutting, and the carving of mandarin ducks marrying an old man are widely circulated among the people.
