Renting a car for a day from Sapporo to Furano allows you to also visit Biei Street and the Blue Pond. ✅ Day tours🚌: There are many day tours from Sapporo to Furano to see the flowers during the summer, with very reasonable prices and including a buffet. For 1-3 people, day tours are very cost-effective. ✅ Public transportation🚉: Take the KAMUI limited express from Sapporo Station to Asahikawa, then transfer to the Furano Line and get off at Bibaushi Station. The area is vast and walkable, there are options to rent self driven golf carts or join a tour. Parking and entrance each cost 500 yen and can be paid at the machines. There is a souvenir shop, a small coffee shop and toilets. There is also an alpaca farm, which costs extra, next to the entrance.

Free parking also makes it convenient ( if you have a car ).This "rainbow field" is definitely our favourite one in the area. It's free to enter, and you only have to pay if you want to take the rides. Worth a visit to see the immense fields of colourful flowers.
