Lovely place for children and lovely cafe.
Lovely cafe. Best jam and Cream scones we've had in ages. Proper clotted cream and beautifully baked scones. The house and gardens are nice especially for children.

Don’t bother with the gardens
We’ve always wanted to visit Paxton House especially the gardens. On arrival it seemed quite pleasant however on walking round the gardens they are very overgrown and the paths/steps down to the river...
Boathouse Wedding
We chose the Boathouse at Paxton house for our small wedding and it was everything that we could possibly have hoped it would be. Mel, the events coordinator was absolutely fantastic!
