The key national cultural relics protection units in Peking University are more difficult to find here. The yard is still good. The small courtyard is a piece of small courtyard. 燕南园是北大许多知名教授曾居住过的园子，位于图书馆和二体南侧，建筑风格中西合璧，以庭院结构居多。园内各类花鸟草木繁茂，春夏之际绿意盎然花香满园，是赏景散心的好去处。燕南园也是各类喵星人的活动天地，漫步于燕南小径，可以时不时看到或慵懒或调皮的猫。

燕南园位于燕园的南部，占地48亩，东邻燕南美食；西至北大校医院；北邻第二体育馆及篮球场；南接学生宿舍及邮局、银行。占地面积2万平方米。1952年随燕大并入北京大学。有燕园“园中之园”的誉称。燕南园的建筑以“洋式”为主，多为两层小楼，附带一个小花园。室内装饰业具有典型的西洋风格：铺设木地板，楼梯设在屋内，屋里有供冬天采暖的壁炉，上下两层楼各有独立的卫生间。
