Wanfuge

The Wanfu Pavilion is the fifth entrance to the Grand Palace and the last main hall. The main building in the middle of the Grand Palace is three floors, the left is Yanxu Pavilion, and the right is Yongkang Pavilion, both of which are two floors. There are many small Buddha statues in the Wanfu Pavilion, so it is called Wanfu Pavilion.

The Wanfu Pavilion, also known as the "Wanfo Building", is the last entry of the Lama Temple, the highest and grandest temple in the whole temple. The main building in the middle is three floors. There are up to 10,000 statues of the small Buddha in the inner wall of the temple, so there are "Wanfo Building" and Wanfu (Buddhist) Pavilion.

Wanfu Pavilion is connected to the east and west sides of Yongkang Pavilion and Yanxu Pavilion respectively, and the middle is connected by a hanging pavilion-style flying corridor. The temple is located in the north of Wanfu Pavilion. It is the northernmost building on the middle road of the Lama Temple.

Wanfu Pavilion is located in the Yihe Palace in Dongcheng District, Beijing. It is the last hall in the Yihe Palace. The small Buddha statues offered on each floor of the Wanfu Pavilion have a total of 10,000. The "Buddhism" and "Fu" sound are close, so it is called Wanfu Pavilion. The most remarkable is the Maitreya statue carved from the whole sandalwood, a total height of 26 meters. Among them, 8 meters underground, 18 meters above ground, 8 meters in diameter, is one of the largest single wood carving Buddhas in China and the world, and the people who come here every day are endless.

This hall is pretty impressive and one of the germ of Yong He Monastery. I have no any regret after visiting this place. Please, pay attention to its inner space and exposition.

The two Lingkong Fei Corridors are located on the second floor of Wanfu Pavilion and are connected to the lower Yongkang Pavilion and Yanxu Pavilion respectively. Because both pavilions are lower than the second floor of Wanfu Pavilion, the two wings are like slow slopes. The reason why this architectural model makes people feel like Qionglou Yuyu is not without reason. It is probably pursued because this three-pavilion parallel building form is often seen in the fire niches of the Sui and Tang murals. In the Dunhuang mural, the "restored piece" of the Tiangong attic in the Buddha world is located on the side of the second ring road in Beijing. It is too appropriate to describe the four words "Qionglou Yuyu".
