The first exhibition in China by the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, "Morrigio Cartland: The Last Trial", is eye-catching and thought-provoking. Cartland is one of the most popular and controversial artists on the international contemporary art scene today. Throughout his career, Cartland has been full of humor, ridicule and jokes, and has a skeptical attitude toward established standards of characters and things. This skepticism itself is a reminder of re-examining, re-judging, and breaking the inertia of thinking. The first exhibition in Catalan China brought us more artistic experience and feelings from space layout, visual communication and participation. The Andy Warhol exhibition is the first panoramic presentation of Warhol's artistic career in China from childhood to old age. The exhibition will be opened in five chapters, presenting nearly 400 works by Warhol, a prolific artist and entrepreneur. He is a painter, sculptor, illustrator, photographer and throughout his career, he has explored artistic expression in emerging media such as publishing, film, music production, television, fashion and drama. He was not afraid to break the boundaries of art, putting Coca-Cola, canned gin soup, stars and even dollars on canvas, creating the art myth of the era of consumption.
