Ming Tombs are located in the foothills of Tianshou Mountain, Changping District, Beijing, with a total area of more than 120 square kilometers, about 50 kilometers from Tiananmen Square.
MoreThe main Shinto is also called the Ming Tombs Shinto, or Changling Shinto, and is the leading part of the Changling mausoleum building. It is located in the Ming Tombs Attraction in Changping, Beijing. The total length of the Shinto is about 7.3 kilometers. It was built in the early years of the Ming Dynasty. From south to north, there were originally a series of Shinto tomb facilities and bridge culvert buildings, including stone archways, three empty bridges, big red gates, pavilions for the monuments of divine merit and saintly virtue, stone statues, Lingxing Gate, South Five Empty Bridges, Seven Empty Bridges, and North Five Empty Bridges. Except for the damaged bridges and culverts, the others are well preserved.
The stone archway is the first building on the Shinto Road. It is a large-scale imitation wood-structure stone archway with a relatively early and high-grade structure in my country. It is made of white stone and blue stone, and is exquisitely made and transparent.
Dahongmen is the main entrance to the mausoleum area. It has a single-eaved hipped roof covered with yellow glazed tiles and supported by stone-carved ice-pan eaves. It has an exquisite and majestic shape.
The four walls and the base of the Pavilion of Divine Merit and Sacred Virtue are original from the Ming Dynasty. Inside the pavilion stands the "Ming Changling Divine Merit and Sacred Virtue Monument" carved from white stone. At the four corners of the pavilion are 10.81-meter-high octagonal columns. On the top stands a divine beast, a crouching dragon, with its head held high and roaring.
From the stele pavilion to the north, there are 12 pairs of stone beasts and 6 pairs of stone men in an area of more than 800 meters, to show the majesty of the emperor. At the end of the stone statues is the Lingxing Gate, which has three doors in total. There are two pillow stones on the door, which can be used to install two doors, which means "set up six doors and open and close". When the emperor and empress were buried in the mountain mausoleum, they had to pass through this gate, so it is often called the Dragon and Phoenix Gate.

At present, only the "Three Mausoleums" (Changling, Dingling, Zhaoling, Shenlu) and Kangling. The Tombs were destroyed twice by Li Zicheng's Peasant Army and Qing Regent King Doerqian, Qing Qianlong Emperor, who was the heart of the Han people. It was repaired on a large scale in Qianlong 50 to 52 years (1785-1787 years). It was robbed during the period of the Resistance of the Republic of China. After the founding of the People's Republic of China in the 1980s, In 2003 (Declaration of the World Legacy) two major repairs. ① Address: Changchi Road, Shiling Town, Changping District, Beijing. ② Transportation: Direct bus access, driving is very good. ③ peak season: no. ④ time: 1 day. ⑤ Note: The distance between each mausoleum and Shenlu is not close, all are connected to the bus, and the best self-driving tour is the best. 2, Shenlu means "the immortal road of the dead", built in the Ming Xuande decade (1435), Ming Jiajing 19 years (1540) has been added, originally Changling Shenlu, because other emperors' shrines from the road, so that it becomes the total Shenlu, the total length is slightly curved, Because Feng Shui thought that straight will be like a sword straight to the Changling is not lucky. Explain 20 yuan per person every 15 minutes. From the south to the north: ① Dahongmen: The first gate of the Tombs is composed of 3 coupon gates. The middle door is the emperor's post-coffin burial and the god's royal objects are taken. The left door is the current emperor's post-consultation sacrifice. The right door is the minister's walk. The original wall on both sides extends out. Outside the door, there are "down horse monuments" on both sides, that is, the former civil and military officials cannot ride a horse and take a sedan. ② Stone archway: The highest level of imitation wood structure, 5 doors, 6 pillars, 11th floor. ③ Changling God Gong Shengde Monument: Ming Renzong Zhu Gaoxu wrote for his father Mingcheng Zu Zhu Ying, the famous calligrapher Cheng Nanyun handwriting, the remaining 3 sides originally did not have words, the Qing Dynasty rebuilt the tablet pavilion, and on the back and left, engraved the poem "30 rhyme of the Aiming Mausoleum", On the right is a poem engraved by Qing Jiaqing Emperor discussing the lessons of the Ming Dynasty's demise. The stone beast of the stele is called the dragon, and the old six is ranked among the dragon nine children. It is a powerful and docile beast of the ancient specialty of the stele. ④ Huabiao pillar: There is a Rui beast roaring at the top, facing the Forbidden City, which means a wide opening of the road. It starts in the Shanghai period and is the earliest wooden pillar. It is convenient for people to engrave messages on the pillar and make suggestions. ⑤ Stone statue birth: a total of 18 pairs, in turn, squat/stand lion, squat/stand camel, squat/stand elephant (next to Chairman Mao's 1954 tour Changling here with the elephant photo), squat/stand lion, squat/stand horse, general × 2, character officer × 2, meritor × 2, All stone beasts are male. ⑥ Krypton Gate: also known as "Dragon and Phoenix Gate", because the upper end is engraved with flames and also known as "Fire Archway", the walking rules of the 3 door holes are the same as the big red door, after this door can be on the horse and take a sedan.
Very worth the visit.
I really like Shenlu. Various animal portraits are two or three meters high. They are vividly displayed on both sides of the road.
Land is very big, tourists are scarce!
