Very run down area
Absolutely awful run down dirty shabby town. The beach looked nice but no other facilities whatsoever. I would not visit here unless the weather was good as other than the beach there is no reason to ...
Attractive small harbour in a picturesque setting.
The harbour is at the mouth of the estuary close to the beach. Great views of the mountains and the long railway bridge spanning the water.
Keeping boats on it is an excellent use of this muddy ground.
Keeping boats on it is an excellent use of this muddy ground. It will be even better when the tide comes in and the boats can bob about a bit, handy for both town and sea.

Busy harbour just down from the main beach with plenty of places to sit and talk and enjoy the sun, the views and an ice cream.
