🇹🇭I've been playing in Bangkok for a week, and this is my favorite place~ The Erawan Museum It's the kind of place that will make you go 'wow' as soon as you walk in. - 💛The ticket price on site is 400 baht, but it's a bit cheaper for foreigners, you can book it online for 50-60R. - The best time for taking photos is from 16 to 17 o'clock, the only downside is that there is no air conditioning inside, the day we went was cool, otherwise it would be a bit like a steamer. - ❤️Outfit suggestions: Any color that matches with pink is super suitable, such as light blue, white, silver, light gold. #timetotravel This is The Erawan Museum located just right outside of the city of Bangkok. Although this is already outside of Bangkok it is still very easy to get to. You can just take BTS and the nearest stop is Chang Erawan and it will take you probably around 10-15 minute of walk depending on your walk speed. It is a very interesting place to visit, a place where you see a 3 headed elephant which this museum or temple in known for. Apparently, the 3 headed elephant is the largest free standing statue in the world. If you are chasing hidden gems in Bangkok then visit this place, you will never regret it. 📌Erawan Elephant Museum📌 is a museum in Samut Prakan Province (1 hour from bkk, you can use grab/take a train to go here). It is well known for its giant three-headed elephant art display. There are 3 floors in Erawan Museum Building, The first floor contains a collection of Chinese vases from the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the history of the museum's construction. The second floor houses precious antiques and arts including ceramics and European pottery. World Largest Copper Erawan Private Museum For Peace & Humanity what is upmost fascinating about this museum is that the museum itself is housed inside the belly of the giant three-headed elephant! that comprise of 3levels representing the underworld, human earth and heaven. The interior is so beautiful and serene & same goes to the exterior area with gardens & ponds. Located a little bit outside of Bangkok city, but you can take BTS (Sukhumvit line) and alight at BTS Pu Chao station, then advisable to hail a Grab or Taxi to the museum as its more than 1km walk, otherwise if you don't mind walking then its all good Entrance fee into the museum 400baht(foreigners) & they do have Thai Costume rental services here as well. The museum has three floors: the underworld, the human world, and the heaven. #thailandtrip Absolutely beautiful! It's about a 25 minute walk from the BTS terminal, so go early to beat the heat if you are using the BTS to get there. They offer free audio guides if you are interested, but we chose not to use it. Please remember to dress modest (or use a wrap or sarong offered for free use) and remove your shoes before entering out of respect. Take time to not only enjoy the inside, but all the beauty outside as well. Grab a bite to eat and/or drink at the Cafe afterwards.
