Assisi

It is an ancient Italian town, a city known for its religion and a place of worship for Catholics. Although not religious, as tourists, the monuments here are also worth our slow walk and savor.

Assisi belongs to a very beautiful small city. You can take a train or rent a car to see it all the way. The natural scenery is beautiful. There are many small houses that are very warm. The environment with mountains and water is also very suitable for living.

There is a saying that because of Assisi, the region of Umbria has been able to be a neighbor to Tuscany without shame. The holy city of Assisi is mainly based on rose-colored marble buildings, and under the blue sky, any shot is a postcard.

The church of St. Francis of Assisi was built in 1361 and is the oldest church in Italy. It was listed as a World Heritage Site in 2000. The cathedral is structured in a small hillside and consists of the upper church, lower church and the tomb where the remains of San Francisco are laid, as well as an affiliated monastery.

A holy city with a strong religious flavor, this is the birthplace of St. Francis, where he founded Franciscan Church in 1208. The Temple of St. Francis and other Franciscan buildings in Assisi are now listed as World Heritage Sites

Assisi is a medieval town located halfway up the mountain, with ancient buildings such as the famous San Francis Temple and Church listed as a world heritage site. I went there a few years ago and had a good chance to see it again.
