Nice couple of hours walking around and listening to the provided tape about the history whilst explaining the ruins. The view at the top of the tower was nice. Shame only 1 unisex toilet

Climb the tower
Another very good English Heritage property. The castle is a ruin but it is a must to climb the 90 steps up the tower. Great view from the top.
