Julongquan

The must-visit attraction of the north slope of Changbai Mountain is to watch the beautiful scenery along the way of Changbai Waterfall. Because many springs spew hot springs, they are called Julong Spring. Its colorful hot spring belt is a bit like Yellowstone Park in the United States.

In the north slope of Changbai Mountain, there is geothermal heat of Julong Hot Spring along the plank road, but the scale is small. I reached in and tried it. Sure enough, the water was hot. The sign on the side explained that the hot spring water was 85℃, but it didn't seem to have such a high temperature.

Julong Spring is the largest, most widely distributed, the highest water temperature hot spring in the Changbai Hot Spring Group, composed of dozens of places or large as bowl mouth or small as fingers of the spring eyes, distributed on the ground of 1000 square meters, countless hot streams from the ground, like a group of dragons spraying water, so the name Julong Spring. Julong Spring is not far from Changbai Waterfall, and the Erdaobai River flows through the hot spring group. The minerals that have been deposited near the hot springs for many years have rendered the bottom of the pool colorful, like beautiful canvases, a faint smell of sulfur is filled with the air, and bubbles continue to emerge from the water. Julongquan is a high-heat hot spring, put in eggs, short time is ripe, egg yolk solidified, egg white does not solidify, at the same time there is a faint sulfur smell, just eat salt noodles with a special flavor. There is also a fresh green grass growing next to the hot spring, which is a precious variety of bottle grass growing under this temperature condition, which can resist high temperature! These hot springs are proof that Changbai Mountain is a volcano, indicating that the magma after the eruption of Changbai Mountain is not exhausted, or that there is volcanic activity deep underground.

The scenery is pleasant and the air is fresh, it is worth a visit.

Julong Spring is located in Changbai Mountain National Nature Reserve, Jilin Province, the hot spring square in the North Slope Scenic Area, close to Changbai Waterfall. Julong Hot Spring is a self-overflow hot spring, with 42 spring eyes in Fangyuan 1000 square meters. Pingyi water temperature is 70 degrees, up to 82 degrees. Hot spring water can treat skin diseases and hypertension.

The colorful hot springs are all over the mountain and can be viewed from different angles on the boardwalk, but the sulphur smell is unpleasant. The hot spring boiled eggs here are a must-try program.
