　The "Sunset Line" of Amakusa was the road that runs along the west coast of Amakusa Shimojima, the largest island of Amakusa. 　The national highway running north-south along the west coast of Amakusa Shimojima is the "Amakusa West Coast Sunset Line". We entered Amakusa Shimojima from Amakusa Uejima and headed west to the west coast like crossing the island. At the "Onikaigaura Observatory", there was a sign that it was selected as "100 Best Sunsets in Japan". The sunset line runs north-south, so when viewed from each observatory, the sunset is just right in front of you.

It was quite small, so it was difficult to find a viewpoint even if I was running on the national highway. I think the area around Sakitsu village is recommended.
