The Akkeshi Water Chicken Inspection Center is located along the national highway, which is about ４４ east of the city of Akkeshi on National Highway ｋｍ. It is built at the foot of the hill, but on the other side of the hill, that is, on the south side, the vast Betsukanbe Ushi Marsh is connected to Lake Akkeshi beyond that.
