Renfe Children Fare
For children aged 4 to 13, Renfe provides a 40% discount on ticket prices. Children under four travel for free but are not permitted a reserved seat. On Cercanías trains, children under six can travel for free without a reserved seat.

In Spain, Renfe provides significant fare discounts for large families: 20% for general category families and 50% for special category families. Single-parent families in Catalonia may also receive discounts on Rodalies services with the appropriate Generalitat certification.
