Highlights: The Peace Bridge is a pedestrian bridge over the Kura River in downtown Tbilisi, one of the landmarks of Tbilisi. The bridge connects the new and old towns of Tbilisi with a total length of 150 meters and is one of the few modern buildings in Tbilisi. It was designed by Italian architect Michele DeLucchi. The bridge body adopts a mixed structure of steel and glass. The ceiling is 150 meters high. It has an interactive light display system, including 30,000 LED lights and 240 sensors, which will respond to special signals every hour. The two parapets along the bridge flash in sequence, resembling Morse code, symbolizing the chemical elements of the human body and human life and peace.
