Anonymous userThe autumn colors were beautiful, but we didn't have enough time to see everything. The ticket price felt a bit expensive, especially considering we had just visited Baishuitai; the contrast was too stark. 😀

海的皱纹还给风Songzanlin Monastery truly lives up to its reputation as the "Little Potala Palace." Arriving early in the morning, before the mist had fully dissipated, the layers of golden roofs and white walls shimmered under the high-altitude sun—a breathtaking sight I will never forget. Three details that moved me most: • The weight of faith: Inside the main hall, the dim light of butter lamps illuminated the murals, and the air was filled with the scent of incense and the passage of time. Watching the local elders tremblingly adding butter, I suddenly understood that this was not just a tourist attraction, but an integral part of their lives. • A gaze upon the crows: Flocks of crows circled above the monastery roof; locals say they are guardian spirits. Standing high above, gazing at these dark spirits, I felt a primal connection between humanity and nature. The "Stairway to Enlightenment": Climbing 147 steps left me breathless, but with each step back, the view widened—much like a spiritual journey; the more physically exhausted, the clearer the mind. Practical Tips: • Hire a local guide (around 80 yuan). They'll explain the true meaning of turning the prayer wheel clockwise and not stepping on the threshold. • After 4 pm, the crowds thin out, and the light is perfect for photographing the golden roof. • The butter tea at the stalls outside the temple is authentic; a bowl for 5 yuan can dispel the high-altitude chill. Looking back at the panoramic view as I left, I suddenly understood—this place allows everyone to find different answers: perhaps beauty, perhaps faith, perhaps just a moment of tranquility. At an altitude of 3380 meters, it's not just the body that's close to the sky, but also the heart.

_cs***01The scenic area is located deep within the Grand Canyon. After arriving, you'll need to take a shuttle bus. The area itself has quite good resources, including local residences, high mountain and canyon landscapes, and you can even reach a higher rock formation resembling a Buddhist pagoda. Overall, it's a nice place.

M10***51It's not tiring to walk up without riding a horse. The first section is steep, but the wooden plank road is easy to walk on. There are a few benches in the middle where you can rest for a while. You can see the whole picture from the treetop viewing platform. The weather is good today, the scenery is beautiful, and it is very photogenic. I bought the ticket online and had to go to the tourist center to exchange it for a paper ticket, which is a bit cumbersome and there is no point in buying the ticket online.

舊鐵皮往南開After having a Tibetan meal in Dukezong Ancient Town, I saw some scenic views online and on a whim, my partner and I decided to drive there. It was winter, so the road conditions were quite dangerous. Because it was night, the roads were covered in black ice and snow. We didn't encounter many vehicles along the way, so it felt rather deserted, but thankfully we made it safely. We were also incredibly lucky to witness the sunrise over the sacred mountains—a sight I'd never seen before. I definitely want to see those sacred mountains again someday!

咖啡冰Purchasing tickets on Ctrip is fast and effective. Although there is no snow on the snow-capped mountains recently, it is close to Shangri-La, has cable cars going up and down, few people, and new facilities. I highly recommend it!
