Great Hmong homestay just on the edge of town. If have own transport, this should be fine. Turned up after long journey from Ha Giang. Was welcomed with a fantastic family meal and hot bath/shower. Just what I needed. Breakfast was excellent in the morning; in terms of a chicken pho. Accommodation looks simple, but great attention to detail in the rooms; from heaters to electric blankets. All taken care of. Wouldn’t hesitate to return
The host family is big and friendly, the lady can speak good English. The room is beautifully decorated and the view from the window (and balcony!) is wonderful. Unfortunately my room was not fully prepared (missing tea and instant coffee) and there was a noticeable sewage smell in the bathroom. The breakfast was too simple.

I'm Japanese.
If you're going on a Ha Giang Loop tour, I definitely recommend using the one organized by this hostel!
I was the only one who left this hostel, but other hostel guests joined us at the departure point, so this time we were a small group of about 8 people including me. It was easy to move around and comfortable.
The other companies were moving with about twice as many people, so it seemed quite difficult.
On the first day, I stayed in a homestay, and on the second day, I stayed in a dormitory on the top floor of the hotel. Both were comfortable, and the showers worked without any problems. Toothbrushes, shampoo, body soap, and towels are provided, so you don't need to bring them with you.
We eat meals with the group every time, but we enjoyed Vietnamese home cooking for lunch and dinner, which we all shared. The portions were plenty and the taste was good. For breakfast, you can also choose Western food such as pancakes.
The Easy Rider driver drove with safety as his top priority, so I felt safe. We had a driver who spoke English, so we had no trouble communicating.
There were no Asians in the Ha Giang area, let alone Japanese people, but it was a wonderful trip that will remain in my memory for the rest of my life.
Im not happy at all for services including the breakfast meal , they service to style of meal only .not the buffet breakfast .

JJohn JoachimNice bungalows and a very accommodating staff. Breakfast was decent and it included in the price. The traditional people that are native of that area are very nice and interesting. Great stop on the way to Aang loop.
GGuest UserThe structure is very simple but clean and the managers make you feel at home! It was an authentic experience, which we will surely remember on our trip. The Yolo homestay is managed by a husband and wife, both very nice and helpful, they have two wonderful children who are a pleasure to have met. It's a shame we don't speak much English because we would have certainly enjoyed it even more!
With them we booked the Ha Giang Loop tour at a super convenient price, very nice and helpful drivers. We spent the night in a wonderful homestay!
They also booked the night bus for us to go to Tam Coc.
Dinner is prepared by the wife. Simple but tasty menu! Everything really TOP.
Thank you wonderful family 🥰
