"I had a wonderful stay at The Armstrong Hotel this past Easter weekend. This was a staycation while I hung out with some friends who live in Windsor. So, I didn't do much on the main drag of College Avenue. But it seemed like a bustling and exciting place.
The room was well kept and clean, and the front desk staff were nice and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable, and the water pressure was great. I requested a luggage rack, and someone placed in into my room with no problem.
I would definitely return to stay again. Maybe the 3rd floor next time. I was on the second floor and bless the cleaning staff for all they do, but they are fast and furious with that vacuum cleaner in the morning. That was the bulk of the noise I experienced. Not terrible.
The parking was convenient, and close by. My only critique is that the parking lot next to the Bohlender Funeral Chapel needs some light at night. When returning late at night, the parking lot is extremely dark. And some cars were double parked.
I read some reviews about the loudness of the train that goes down the next block on Mason Street. It wasn't bad. You should always travel with earplugs, but the hotel provided ear plugs which was a nice touch."

"The guy at the reception desk was rude. I needed to check in. I waited for a while for him to chitchat with the people in front of me. He clearly saw me but was ignoring me. It’s great that the guy was telling the people where to visit and wanting to write down a list for them. And the people asking 100 questions. But that part could have waited. I finally walked up to the counter. He asked if I had a question rudely. No, I didn’t, I needed to check in and I had somewhere to go. He finally helped me, not friendly at all with me. I did ask about the parking situation, he mentioned street parking or valet parking. I didn’t ask for valet parking but was charged a valet parking fee. (I did get this fixed the next day)"

"The first room we were booked into had a terrible cigarette smell (it's a non smoking hotel), so they had to find us another room. The next room had its own issues. First thing we found was a bag of kibble in the fridge. The bathroom door had to be forced to shut completely, and the bathroom sink drained incredibly slow. They apparently tried to fix it, but it actually got worse after. If you are tall, you will hate the showers. The shower head is set at about 5'6”. Also, bring slippers, because the floors are filthy. I obviously cannot comment on every room, but the hotel is very dated and needs renovations. A few positives were that the staff was nice and accommodating, they serviced the room daily, the bed was comfy, and the shuttle service was great."

"Overall wasn't the greatest. The free breakfast was the best part of the stay. I was disappointed to find out after booking and checking in that there was no swimming pool when it said there was. It's been under maintenance for over a year. Then there was a problem with the TV in the room. It didn't work and the front desk said they would fix the issue but it took till the next day to get a new one. Very disappointed"

"The room is spacious and well designed. There is a partition between the beds and study table which allow us to work on laptop without disturbing the other person who was sleeping. There are varieties for breakfast. The hotel location is also near to a lot of restaurants"

First off this hotel has a great location. You can get on C-470 in just 2 - 3 minutes and access to I-25 is just as easy and takes only 5 or so minutes. Within less than a mile radius is the Park Meadows Mall, several supermarkets/drug stores, more restaurants than you can imagine, Walmart, Sam's Club, Target, Costco, Ikea, golf courses, bike trails, parks, and so on. The hotel appears to have been updated fairly recently as all finishes in the building looked clean, shiney and quite new. Our room was of average size with 2 queen beds that were very comfortable. We especially liked the fact that the shower/toilet area was separated from the bathroom sink area. The room was very quiet as there was no noise from either the outside or from adjoining rooms or the hallway. I usually don't sleep well in hotels, as the slightest noise keeps me awake, but during our stay here I slept like a baby. The front desk personnel were professional, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. The only slight minus to our experience was that the breakfast menu was on the light side compared to most other hotels we have stayed in, however the dining space is spacious and clean. In summary, you can't go wrong in choosing to stay at this well managed hotel.

This is a beautiful historic property, with a fantastic team providing impeccable service to guests!
The property is located very conveniently, close to the hot springs and walking distance to downtown. The lobby and the Courtyard ares beautiful.
We had a bit of an issue getting the hang of operating the ceiling fan and the room heating system, and the team's response to get us updated was super quick.
Overall, a great experience.

Good things were location, cleanliness, and modern (flipped) updates, big kitchen with all needed cooking appliances. Bad things were: room wasn’t ready upon arrival two hours after checkin (same for several other people waiting); noise - window A/C units kept in during winter created only a thin sheet of plastic separating outdoors. Lots of stomping, carts rolling, yelling at night, and traffic noise right outside bedrooms; poor responsiveness for missing items (no coffee maker - took three calls over several hours), no soap or shampoo in showers (delivered on last day), not enough coffee packets (never delivered despite multiple calls). Shuttle service very iffy. Sometimes only one running during high volume times. Advertisement on trip.com did not reveal that place was under major construction so no pool or hot tub or ski lockers available. Sidewalks and entry extremely icy and dangerous to walk on. Makeshift second floor check in room (due to construction) required walking on icy walkways and staircases to get to. Surprised they could get away with this from an insurance perspective.

Corey SaylesI had been staying downtown for a while, but due to the expensive parking and daily city life, I needed a break. Atwell Suites seemed like the perfect fit. It’s located away from the city, close to the airport, and has a modern design. The lobby offers great seating options for working or relaxing, along with amenities that some pricier hotels lack. The price per night was also very reasonable, which was a significant deciding factor. I ended up becoming an IHG member, extending my stay, and booking an extra night. The staff has been very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Guest UserI want to like this place. The room is spacious and comfortable and the staff are generally very helpful. What is less than ideal: (1) housekeeping visited our room to clean only once in the 4.5 days we were there. (2) No iron in the room and minimal hangars. (3) The transparent divider between bedroom and bathroom area means that when one person gets up in the morning, the one staying in bed has to contend with the light beaming through the divider (4) The sliding door between the bathroom and toilet is large and clunky and noisy when you slide it. It’s especially a pain when you have to use the toilet in the middle of the night. While the nightlight in the toilet is a nice touch, because (a) it can’t be turned off and (b) that sliding door doesn’t seal shut, renegade light gets through it and through the transparent divider, making the room not as dark for sleeping as it should be.

The staff were super nice and helpful, rooms were clean and the atmosphere was pretty cool. Our biggest complaint is the giant see-through window in the shower that anyone in the bedroom could pretty much see you naked, that frosted glass was not blocking anything out. Probably fine if you’re in the room alone or with a partner, but if you maybe have friends for acquaintances stop by while you’re still getting ready or if you share a room with your kid… It’s just kind of weird.  There also was not an exhaust fan in the bathroom, which I think was needed. Also water from the shower door soaked the ground every time, but that’s pretty common in most hotel rooms with a glass door. It also would’ve been nice to have had more than two towels in the room.
I will still stay here again because I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the location was perfect for what I needed.

I stayed one night at the Hilton in Fort Collins for a business trip and it was a really good experience. The location made things easy since it’s close to downtown and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Check-in was simple and the staff were friendly and welcoming right from the start.
The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bed was great and I slept well, which is always important when you’re traveling for work. I also liked that there was a good desk setup and the Wi-Fi worked without any issues, so I was able to catch up on emails without stress.
I didn’t get a chance to try the gym or restaurant, but the hotel itself felt well taken care of and the lobby had a nice vibe for sitting down or taking a call.
Overall, it was exactly what I needed for a quick business trip. Comfortable, efficient, and easy. I’d be happy to stay here again.

We were expecting a GRET stay instead we were surprised by many non typical incidents. First we did not have parking spots the attendant at front desk was less than excited to assist us. The room was nice but we asked for no pillows with down feathers and instead had all down pillows:( I’m highly allergic.
I asked for pillows they told us we would receive them and never did. Me and husband had hives over and over and it could have been from all of the pets all over this location. Overall just disappointed at our stay. Scenery was amazing but that was it. Even to get coffee it was a task. We had to go down and get it after waiting a couple of hours. Village at Breckenridge peak 9 inn needs to step up their game!! Our ac was so loud we couldn’t even hear TV! Very overpriced for stay that probably would have been better at a low end hotel!
