The service staff are very helpful. There is no elevator in the hotel, so they help to lift it upstairs. The location is good, next to a local night market, but a bit far from the beach. The room card was lost. The front desk initially said that a compensation of 500 baht was required, but when they finally left, they only said that the compensation was 300 baht, which was quite reasonable.

The hotel is in the heart of Phang Nga. It is very convenient to travel to various government places. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Good service staff Next opportunity, if coming to Phang Nga, I will definitely stay here.

We have just moved after been at motive for 1 night the worst night we have ever had at a hotel ever as follows . Last night and this morning - because the walls of this hotel are so thin, my children were subjected to hours of rampant sex cries , moans & skin slapping noises, with the bed banging and squeaking for hours up until 1.30am last night and then again this morning it woke us up at 9am as they were at it again My 9 year old daughter was so uncomfortable with this she was in tears and very confused - the walls are so thin you could hear intimate details , skin slapping and heavy breathing with sex talk , it was embarrassing and scary for both my children we could hear everything through the paper thin walls. It was extremely awkward, very uncomfortable and an unpleasant experience . Just as that stopped last night at 1.30, a noisy family came back to the room on the other side, loud talking, baby crying and they put the TV on at volume- again, because the walls are so thin, there was no escape from it. Finally we managed to fall asleep only to be woken again at 4am by the baby screaming. We tried to talk to 2 different people about it at reception but they just shrugged there’s shoulders didn’t offer to move our room or a refund no help whatsoever . We have tried to raise it with agoda repeatedly but they are not interested and just offered me a £40 credit on our next booking and have still charged us £455 as we left the hotel early and said it’s the hotels policy not there’s even though we paid agoda in full before hand . To top it off the extra bed my son had been given ( which cost £13 a day ) was literally so hard it was like a block of concrete and the blanket had several holes in it. This was a terrible night of sleep as we were trapped in the room between the loud sex and the screaming baby. I understand these things go on in private, but the walls are so thin, you cannot get away from what is going on next door and children (nor adults!) should not have to be subjected to someone else’s intimate sex noises . It meant the holiday had started with a unpleasant experience that made it feel more like torture than a holiday and there is no way I would let my children stay in that environment again ( surely any decent parent would agree with me ? ) . None of us wanted to return to that hotel as things that should be private cannot be private in that hotel because the walls are obviously so thin . On top of this the hotel is in a very poor state and needs to be refurbished throughout . The rooms are dark & dingy and the mattresses are like solid planks . The shower is very poor and makes the whole bathroom wet and the floor like a ice rink . The pool has so much chemicals in it after swimming for half an hour my throat went totally dry and I had trouble swallowing and my sons as well ( we have never had this before at any pool ) - throat was fine as soon as we left the pool . The Sleep Phang-nga is located along the main road through Phang-nga. The hotel does not have its own parking lot. Street parking wasn't too difficult to find when we arrived in the evening, but I expect it might be more problematic during the day. The staff had very limited English communication capability - it was sufficient for check-in, but not really feasible to obtain recommendations for dining options (which were quite limited after 8pm), for example. The room was very basic, but clean, and overall good value considering the very low price. We did not experience any significant noise disturbances. Remarkably, despite the price, quite a nice jok (Thai congee) breakfast was included in the room rate. Overall, The Sleep is a good option for a short stay in Phang-nga, particularly considering the price and the absence of a large range of other options.

we have now been to the third sunset resort. a small pretty hotel with a great location, great staff and very attentive employees. The terrace rooms are very good in a great location and have a priceless view of the sea. The massage on the beach is fantastically beautiful. the breakfast is ala card at the moment because there are few guests. But that's completely ok because you don't have to rely on buffet times and everyone only orders what they eat. we will return there again as it has become a home for us in Khaolak. everyone was so grateful that we were there as guests. it was a wonderful time here. 2 weeks unforgettable! Das Frühstück ist im Moment ala Karte, weil nur wenige Gäste da sind. Das ist aber völlig ok, da man sich nicht auf Buffetzeiten verlassen muss und jeder nur das bestellt, was er isst. Wir werden wieder dorthin zurückkehren, da es in Khaolak zu einem Zuhause für uns geworden ist. Alle waren so dankbar, dass wir als Gäste da waren. We stayed for 3 weeks, in a beach villa, over Chris**as and New Year leaving the 2nd week in January. The villas are older than the rest of the resort, and were built after the 2004 tsunami, however they are well maintained and comfortable. The hotel is an easy walk to the nearest restaurants if people want a change from the hotel one which was competitively priced. All the staff were cheerful and very helpful and seemed to enjoy working there which is a good sign. Many things organised, complementary afternoon tea/coffee and biscuits/cake, cheap shuttle at 6pm to the near village and Khaolak Central. On Boxing day a candle lit remembrance service was held on the beach and the NYE party was very good with lots of different food, music and Thai dancing,very memorable. All the staff were exceptional, putting in hours of work putting up then taking down the stage, lighting and seating for the show as well as totally reorganising the restaurant area. We did not go inside any rooms in the modern hotel area as we like villas however looking in they look comfortable and more modern. No hesitation in recommending this hotel and we hope to stay there again.

The only strength of this hotel is the sea view that opens the door of the room and finds it, so I lie down and listen to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach. there are many weaknesses,mainly the brightness in the room is very small,and there are many mosquitoes,and most importantly,there is only one place for the power socket.

This was our second stay at Thiwson. We stayed at the Deluxe Beach Front Villa ( room # A2) and it is definitely worth the extra money. Amazing view and a jacuzzi. Daily house keeping and really nice but basic breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful and always ready to help if you need anything. The restaurant is really great and cheap. We can’t recommend enough and we will probably be back.

First of all, I must say that Search name Pup Will find this hostel first. We hurried to do business in Takua Pa My friend suggested that I used to stay well, but I have to choose. Accidentally we got the last room. Therefore there is no right to choose. Arrived, shocked, the room is very small Moreover, the floor is dirty, we take wet tissue to rub the black floor. The water heater is broken. You have to press the device firmly to get on fire. When I showered, I was afraid that the fire would suck again, so I hurried to take a shower and sleep. There is no sink, pipe below. He brought a water bucket to support. Turn on the water where the water flows into the bucket. I'm tired. Arrived when I was sleeping, trying to endure sleep. He really couldn't sleep, rashes up the body. I couldn't get itchy all. So hurried to move to another place. New place like heaven, please. Very clean, the price is only 899 baht, here 550 baht is really not suitable for this price.

It was only for one night, but it's OK. I miss a pool for longer stay. The reception was no longer occupied than we arrived there at 20:30, the room keys were on the reception venue and on a sign, unfortunately only in Thai, to call the telephone number. Fortunately, my wife is Thai and could quickly clear everything with the lady on the phone and we knew what our room key is. The bed might need a new mattress, but it was ok. All in everything for one night okay.

From the offset all staff were smiley and friendly in this beachfront location. Surprisingly large grounds which incorporated restaurant (below standard - lack of choice IMO) and beachside massage. Rooms average and have what you need. Consider your choice as poolside you are overlooked, Seaview rooms are partially obscured by the trees and standard rooms overlook the grounds. Extremely good WiFi.

The sea water at this Resort's beach was poluted for several hours every day during our multiweek stay this spring. It seems that this and other resorrts in the vicinity had been discharging waste nearby. The ripe coconut fruits were hanging high on palms' tops just above the lounge chairs on this Resort's beachfront, posing a serious. safety hazard. No care to remove these at all. Resort was understaffed and this Resort Manager was very rude when you try ty to express your views about (many) obvious deficiencies. All in all this our stay in this Resort this Spring was a huge disapointment.

Fabulous little resort. We have been travelling Thailand for 5 months and this resort is in my top 2 as everything was perfect. Stayed in a pool villa. The pool is really for sitting however very good for cooling off with a drink. The room was spotless and big. The bed and pillows were so comfortable and clean. Bathroom had everything and was spacious with huge shower. The main pool is very clean and modern looking. Staff super friendly. You will need a car or taxi or scooter. We had a car so no problem. The resort is at the north end of the area. Was a little tricky to find but turn left at the road sign and drive down the track you come into the back of the resort. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was served to you. Great coffee! Standard Thai Brekky eggs toast fruit etc enough to start your day.

Didn't offer food but you could order takeout through them. The women at the desk were helpful and informative when I asked questions.
