I had an exceptional stay at The Mood Hotel! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a warm and professional staff who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. It's a modern local hotel chain but not my preference even at the economical price. There were a series of little problematic things that would prevent me from booking again. The property is behind the city electrical sub station and on a busy part time for South Pattaya road so easy to miss and a long way to turn around. There was some difficulty and delay checking in. The internet log in was a challenge and despite asking for help still had to figure out on my own. Despite being adjacent to the electrical sub station, they still lost power my last day, a huge explosion on the telephone pole as an insulator blew up, then several hours to repair, so I left early lugging my suitcase down 5 flights of stairs. So not for me.

we chose cosi pattaya because of the shuttle to wonder fruit festival. our weeks stay has been exceptional. easy walking distance to the beach for sunset, coffee just opposite the hotel, and there is convenient store in the hotel itself.

We are a mixed couple (Chinese and UK). The reception staff were very friendly upon check in. Our room was clean and modern. They provide water, shampoo, soap, body wash and a fridge, slippers, bath robe and a safe. Location - the hotel is located a 10 min walk to the Park Market and Toshin Market and a 20 minutes walk to the fish market. It's about a 20 minutes walk to the beach. There's some little shops around the hotel, but be careful on the little back roads due to fast cars. Breakfast - You have to make your breakfast selections on Check in, so you have to know in advance what you wish to eat and drink in the future. The coffee is nice, but the food is just a microwave wrap. It's fine for a breakfast. The first night at the hotel was good, and we got a decent sleep. The second night, we arrived back, and there was a loud game of Mahjong or poker going on next door. The problem is, they put us in a room with a (locked) adjoining door. The door is not sound or light proof. This meant we could hear every word and clink of the gambling chips and had light shining in during the night. We said to reception, but this kept going on. It really puzzles me why they put us into an adjoining room. The next morning, the next door was open, and I saw it's a room without beds, so perhaps designed just as a games room (see last picture). It definitely made me a bit wary that if one of the players had a key, they could open the adjoining door to our room. Definitely avoid the rooms ending in 09 or 10 if you want to guarantee a good sleep. This isn't the fault of the lovely workers. it's a design problem/owners issue.

The hotel itself is good and the cleaning is excellent, making the room every day if you wish.I liked the style of the rooms with the appearance of concrete finish style. Is.a good decoration. Also, the room is very well illuminated with the balcony. Excelent Air conditioning. Good car park if you're renting a car or motorbike. The staff is ok, but they should be more polite with the customers. Just one lady,the manager, I think, was the only one who said Hi or Good Morning. The other ones really don't care about you. The location is what really was the downside for me. It's about 20 to 25 minutes away , and almost where everything happens. So,you need to have permanent transport to go up and down. I rented a motorbike which I used during the day but I prefer to take a motor taxi to go out at night for dinner and drinks. Nevertheless, if you're a windsurfing lover, this is your place. There's a nice beach for surfing just a walk distance. But not really for chill out as is too windy for that. You can find shops renting surfing and wind surfing equipment. Another good thing is ,just that in front of the hotel, there's a lady who has a street food shop and sells delicious food very cheaply. Also, you can find a coffee shop not far from the hotel. The place is about 15 minutes walking distance from the Beach. My experience wasn't bad there in the hotel. The room size was comfortable enough. But, they didn't provide any Toothpaste or toothbrush or any soap or hand was. There weren't any sandals either. These things I have got even in cheaper Hotels. The shower was slightly broken. The water wasn't draining quickly either. These are silly problems. But, the experience would have been better if these silly issues weren't there.

The room is clean, but the reception service is not very good. Stayed two nights, booked online. and will stay another night Went down to the reception and asked to stay longer and would pay cash. The reception told me to go reserve online myself. I was confused. If we were going to reserve online, why would we go down and reserve at the reception?

Pro: Lot of parking for motorcycle. Kind staff. Quick check-in. Clean and cheap room. 7-11 next to the hotel. Efficient air conditioner. Refrigerator. Cons: No bum-gun in the toilets. Light filters around the door. Located literally in front of the beach. Very competitive price, clean and relatively comfortable. Very suitable for a short stay.

The small eateries around the hotel is quite good. Go walk around and explore. There is a shop across the street selling rice with dishes for lunch. For dinner there is a mookata and a hotpot nearby hotel that opens till late. Central plaza closes at 9pm. There is a statue of Phra Phrom in front of the hotel

The accommodation has a very good atmosphere, no noise disturbances, quiet, the air conditioning is very cool, the water flows strongly, the bedroom is spacious and has a lot of space, there is no elevator, I stayed on the 4th floor, so I had to walk a bit. I only went up once, hahaha.

The hotel is opposite Burapha University. Located in an alley but not deep Walk in for a while to The alley is not lonely. There is a security guard in front of the building.
