Villas Buenavista

Overall, it was a pleasure to stay in Viilas Buenavista. The place is generally clean and peaceful. You'll indeed have a good night's rest after a whole day of travel and a night out. The staff is friendly and courteous. Just a few things though: 1. We are grateful that they offer complimentary breakfast (which was delicious, btw), however, most of the food choices were not available. Since it's complimentary, and food items are not gourmet food, most items you can store in your fridge for a longer time, like hotdogs, tocino, and longanisa. Then maybe at least more than 2 options be available. 2. No option to have food delivered to the room. 3. Though there is a landline phone in the room, there is no dial tone so that is useless. We used our mobile phones instead since they have the reception's number posted at the back of the door. 4. The room was clean, with cold AC, a working fridge, and a TV. Large enough that it can accommodate a family of 5, or at least 8. Just that the smell was a bit odd. But it's no biggie. What's important is that they have a great room where we can doze off. 5. You may really need to have your own transport, as it's hard to commute from one point and back to the hotel. No happening during the night (no live band, etc) so you really need to go out if you're that type. So if you are looking for a quiet, private, and clean place to stay while enjoying La Union, I certainly recommend for you to add Villas Buenavista to your choices.

I really like this hotel, though a bit difficult to find at the beginning, some people doesn't know this hotel and found out that's its just new. But eventually we figured it out, we saw the street sign Calle Jacinto. The room is clean with bath towel, liquid soap, tooth brush, bottled water. Paulo is very accomodating when we've reached the hotel. There are some decorative paintings around the living room area at the second floor. Though you can smell the freshly paint but since I love painting so I really don't mind it😁. It's a walking distance from the famous Calle Crisologo. We walked around and watched the famous dancing fountain at night and we don't have difficulty going back to the hotel since it's just near. The only problem we've encountered in our room is the toilet bowl has some problem but we've talked to Ms. Meg their supervisor and they will surely fix this asap. They served a set meal breakfast, you just need to choose which one you like to eat with coffee or juice. Overall, our stay is satisfactory and this hotel is highly recommended.

The place is very clean and homey. Plated breakfast being served tastes good and had enough serving. Staffs are very helpful, and works with integrity, especially when I left my ring in the room during check out. No fridge, television, and hair dryer. But there are electric kettle, mugs, glasses, bath towels, and toiletries provided. They also got strong WIFI connection. This is not a typical hotel set up where you could expect that someone would assist you at anytime. So manage your expectation especially when coming back late from outside, as you need to use the door bell for the caretaker to open the main gate for you. Not an issue for us at all since the caretaker is attentive enough to assist. There is a limited parking space inside the yard but I think there are available space nearby for rent. The only improvement to ask would be to install thicker curtains for better privacy and a more relaxed experience as it can block lighting and noise from the outside. I would definitely go back to this place. Thank you!

Overall experience is very good with a few suggestions for improvement. The room rate is relatively lower. The facilities are new - freshly painted walls, spotless room, newly built restroom, cool aircon, and free parking. The staff are very friendly as well. The hotel location is still near Calle Crisologo and Plaza Burgos, less than 10 minutes walk. There is a tight road going there and after the short bridge, the vicinity becomes residential and dimly lit at night. The hotel seems newly built and still lacks a few necessities in the family room: bidet, shower heater, shower partition/curtain. The wifi signal is strong in the hallways (at room 12) but very weak inside the room. Overall, the hotel has a strong potential to be a perfect alternative to established hotels in Vigan if they can improve further.

Very nice and Impressive hotel, strategic location with good car parking space. Center of everything such as food, tourist spot, watson, photo taking, food, souvenir and many more. Staff is friendly and caring, smile all the time and very accomodating. Smoker like me is happy as there is smoking area very near to the room (request room 206 then you would understand what I mean for smoker). I am surely choose this hotel if ever I come to Vigan again. Let my phpto talk about my review 😊😊😊 Thank trip.com make my road trip plan so easier and enjoy.

Laoag doesn't have lots of hotels. I googled for an accommodation and I chose Viven Hotel primarily because of its location. It's just right across Robinsons Place -- the best and biggest mall not just in the city, but in the entire Ilocos region. The room I booked was also spacious with a nice toilet and shower room, air-conditioning system, TV with cable channels, and so forth. As to the hotel itself, it's got quite a number of useful facilities ... a restaurant and a hair salon on the ground floor, a ****** Filipino upstairs, a souvenir shop, etc. I don't know if it's got a parking lot since I took a taxi from the airport, which is just about 10-15 minutes away. Hotel service is good and the staff is very helpful. They helped me organize a drop-off service to Pagudpud. Thumbs up!

it was raining hard when we reached this place and the parking area was starting to get flooded. there was no staff to welcome the guests or offer umbrellas to shield us from the downpour. the hotel is not within the city of vigan. we were ushered to our room by one hotel helper who assisted us with our luggages. courteous and jolly guy. food was typically done the ilocano way. i'm used to the taste and the way it was presented. what i'm very particular about was the repetitive banana being offered for dessert, either boiled, caramelised or served very ripe. our towels were never replaced for the 4D/3N we stayed. they just assumed we didn't care since we didn't bother to request for a new set. the telephone in our room has no dial tone. the bathroom exudes an unpleasant smell at a particular hour at night. but overall, we felt welcomed as we stayed longer. we were allowed beyond the time to continue with our socials. the staff just let us be while singing our hearts out. they were very kind and understanding when we ask for small favors from time to time. might stay here again next time.

Breakfast is strong, the restaurant's dishes are also very Filipino, anyway, it is all kinds of meat, delicious. The architectural style of the hotel has a unique style. The exquisite life that can't be found in the town is that the price is not cheap in the local area.
