Cleanliness can be improved, there's a smell, probably from the detergent used to wash bedsheets? Standard hotel items are provided, toothbrush and toothpaste, body soap and shampoo, but there is a big problem, the shampoo has no way to be opened other than using a scissors or any sharp tools. Rained heavily and water was splattering on the air con unit causing a large knocking sound, woke up to it around 1am and couldn't sleep afterwards, went and feedback to hotel staff, no questions were asked immediately got changed to an upgraded room But all and all, it's a budget hotel, so you get what you paid for, so overall it's still satisfactory

Everyone especially Gee , one of the staff who assisted and guide us here in Royce . She works 10pm - 6am shift and I can tell she has a golden heart and very welcoming to all the guests she encounters. I highly recommend her to be promoted because she’s a very hardworking, kindhearted and very driven .A big SHOUT OUT to ms. Gee . Thank you Royce hotel for making our stay feeling safe . Just a simple and basic hotel room, with free liquid shampoo/soap, towel, no free toothbrush/toothpaste. Value for money. What I like here is they have a space in the lobby where you can bring your laptop and work. Spacious working area and high speed internet.

I stayed here for 22 nights with my partner and overall, it was a good experience. We stayed in a deluxe king room on the bottom floor. Pros: -comfortable bed -good shower with many shower heads and hand held hose -good location in Balibago close to many good restaurants and karaoke bars -staff are friendly and attentive, special shout out to Cherry for helping me organize flowers on Valentine's Day -easily accessible by car and free parking -the rate is quite cheap, will be hard to find a better hotel for this price in the area -the WiFi was consistently reliable with fast speeds throughout my stay Cons: -despite daily housekeeping, the floor of the room is always dirty, you cannot walk barefoot in the room or your feet will be black with dirt. needs to be mopped with stronger chemicals -the shower needs a deep and thorough clean with stronger chemicals also. housekeeping staff are mopping the floor, but white and black mould accumulate very quickly which poses a health risk. it seems like they're just cleaning the bathroom with basic chemicals or water only -would be much better if the TV was a smart TV so that guests can enjoy Netflix etc, however they did have cable TV -quite often, our access card stopped working every 2-3 days which is inconvenient as we have to go to reception constantly to get it fixed. also, there are 2 of us but they refused to give us 2 room keys. If the small issue with cleanliness of the floors/shower is resolved and this hotel had a smart TV, it would truly transform the hotel to a 5 star experience. Overall, I would stay here again.

Well the location is good a bit tucked in from the main road. The hotel is a bit run down, need a but of maintenance and care. The most strange thing is that all the rooms dont have windows, so the room feel damp and a bit claustrophobic. The rooms were clean, bed was comfy. They provide water bottles, kettle for hot water in the room. The TV channels were a bit disappointing only 11 channels and two of which were in English ( CNN and Cartoon Network) when asked at the reception they said only these 11 channels were available, and on my last day just before checking OUT, suddenly HBO channels were activated. They have a indoor pool. The Cafe called Perks and Brew, was good, the room comes with breakfast also. WIFI is ok

Pros 1) Walking distance to mini market, jipney station, wet market and food stalls. 2) The entertainment centre is within walking distance. 3) The front desk personnel are very friendly and helpful. 4) Rooms are clean. The room comes with complimentary water, kettle and simple bathroom utilities. 5) Breakfast is simple. Cons 1) The aircon was noisy. However, the housekeeping team quickly changed my room without much fuss. 2) Not many varieties for breakfast. It takes a while to be served (as they cook it fresh 3) The details of visiting guests were not recorded. Perhaps it would be good for the reception to take the details and call the room once the guests leave. 4) The hotel is located on one road behind perimeter street. Felt a bit uncomfortable when walking back late at night to the hotel. 5) Not much TV programme screened Overall, good hotel. Will stay there again.

I my family and I rented three rooms here in December 2022. Two rooms with a king size bed and one room with two queen size beds. All rooms had spectacular views from their private balconies. The Wi-Fi connection was not strong in one of our rooms but the staff promptly moved us into a new room. We especially enjoyed how the hotel offers massages in the room. The beach was rocky but the view was unbeatable. The breakfast in the morning was great and cost friendly and the dinner in the evening was even more cost friendly and so tasty. We can’t wait to return here during our next trip to Subic!

I don't know about the previous review regarding the pool but when we went there water was crystal clear to think the place was packed they made sure it was clean and treated for the safety of their guests, there was a guy going around making sure it was always clean. I really really highly recommend this hotel due to their overall service and easy accessibility to SM Clark, LA Bakeshop (best cheese bread on earth) and other nice places in Angeles/Clark.

Room is clean, location is good 👍 near church, near McDonald's, puregold and too many restaurant near the hotel. Transportation is very easy. My only problem the room is not sounds proof i can hear somebody talking at the nxt door, i even heard them move the chair. I stayed for two nights but i did not avail their breakfast because breakfast start at 7am and i need to go to school at 7am, they should move it 6am for somebody need to work early or go to school.. But i the same recommend it because its clean, bed and pillow are so soft very comfortable to lay down..

Thank you for making my stay at Surestay Clarview a memorable one. I enjoyed your hospitality and your delicious Kare-kare. The room was spacious, clean and well-lit. The wifi was fast and reliable, which was important for my online meetings. I appreciated the polite and helpful staff at the hotel. Shout out to Jen and Gilbert. However, there were some areas that could be improved. For example, some of the employees were too loud while on duty, which disturbed my peace and quiet. Also, the service at the restaurant was kinda slow and I had to call someone twice to get their attention. Finally, I had a hard time reaching the reception by phone when I needed some bath soap. I had to go down to the lobby and found two personnel who said they didn't receive any call. Overall, I still had a lovely stay at your hotel and I would recommend it to others. As a former hotelier, I know how hard it is to run a hotel and I appreciate your efforts. I hope you will take my feedback as constructive criticism and work on improving your service. See you soon!

The location of the hotel is on the back street of walking street, convenient for 3 minutes walk. There are many Japanese customers, and it is easy to use even in night play, but there is no elevator, so it is difficult to go back and forth many times on the 3rd floor. Shower 🚿 has hot water, but the pressure is low and the temperature is not very high. The facilities are fussy. Also, it's cold because there is only one sheet of thin sheets without futons or blankets 🥶 I wish the air conditioner could be adjusted more, but Meals, convenience stores and currency exchange are convenient because you can find a store that is open 24 hours a day if you go to Walking Street.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Maintenance always available. If the WiFi signal they will put a WiFi router inside of your room for you. Excellent drivers who are safe and friendly. It is located in a good location around the nightlife and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here as the prices are reasonable.

One of the worst stays I have ever experienced in a supposed resort. Firstly paid over ₱7000 for a room to fit 3 adults and a kid. The room was very tired, not very clean, tv did not work properly and very basic in amenities. Not worth with the price! The overall resort is very tired. It needs a major refurbishment. Paint is peeling, large cracks in the building, garden returning to jungle etc! Staff are not at all friendly or flexible. Arrrived with our family at 12pm after a long drive. Requested an early check in. Advised they are just cleaning the room now. I said that is great can you advise how long until will be ready. The reply you can not access it until 2pm at the earliest. Wow. Thanks. The free breakfast is average basic Filipino style breakfast food. It is a buffet format only 7am to 9am. Very limited hours for a supposed resort. Also requested if we could just take. plate to our room (literally a minute from where the food is served) to be told no not possible. The location is average. On a busy highway. Not sure where they get Waterfront for the name of the hotel as the only water close by is the run down pool with a run down bar. The bar has chairs that look like they have been recycled from a trash site. The bar staff did not know how to make basic cocktails and constantly referred to a 'menu' with the expected result being average overpriced drinks. The final and worst part of this once in a life experience was the check out process. We went to check out around 11.15am well before the noon requirement. After handing in the keys and and the deposit slip for the ₱1000 to be returned in full (we did not consume anything in the room) I just stood there for about 10 mins. I asked why the delay. Advised housekeeping was checking the room. Ok so I sat down. After another 20 mins chased them. Finally advised they would be keeping my deposit because of supposed stain on pillow case and sheet. We were invited to inspect the linen. First, the pillow case was like this whern we arrived! Second, the small dirt marks on the sheet were not stains at all and clearly would be cleaned in a standard wash.! After my wife argued the ridiculous of the accusation and the ridiculous of not getting a tiny bit of dirt out in a standard wash we were finally given our deposit in full. This I expect was a scam attempt to falsely pocket our deposit. The whole check out experience took over 45 mins and was embarrassing in that the false accusations were directed at us in front of other customers. If there is one resort/hotel to avoid this is it! If you are crazy enough to stay there now you now only have your self to blame!

If this place will be renovated I will surely go back. But unfortunately it is an old hotel. Before entering zambales there will be a checkpoint so basically we need an antigen test before entering the place. I thought the pool with slides is 5-6ft deep but it's just 4ft. And the other pool which I think is the deeper one is full of moss.

In addition, there is no breakfast directly in the hotel, this information is also withheld online, you are referred to 2 neighboring restaurants that ONLY offer local, mostly lukewarm to cold, breakfast. If you use the local buffet instead of the selection, this also costs extra 😡 The hotel is busy and very noisy, with parties at the pool or in the rooms lasting well into the early hours of the morning. There was no evidence of management intervention. For guests like us who want to relax, this hotel is unsuitable with the constant nightly celebrations of short-term vacationers or conference participants, especially since the first guests leave for breakfast at 6:30 a.m. and you are then involuntarily woken up again. I would have imagined the 7-day stay differently. Repetition factor is very low or not at all😰

A nice boutipue hotel small but smelly!! After big dissappointing before this place we had a high expetation! But been quick panelized again! The room a very small, and with almost 3500 per night overprized! No kettle, no ref, no hot water, very bad internet, and a very welcome early in the morning staff by 6am which was very noisy! After 7pm was the mysic switch on, noisy continue! At the terraze you getting anoid from local vendors over lobster, fish, pasalubongs and more things you does not need! At the end i had enough! Noise level fare to high! We paid for 4 nights after 1 night we get informed we will not receive anything back!!! Very unprofessionel handling of complains Pool water is green many tiles are damaged and wood is rotten

I love this place and my kids are really enjoyed it! Overnight is not enough. We should have explore more and stayed 2-3days. -Place is great -Food is great -We have a fantastic room -The bar is great -Pool is great as if we have our own mini pool. -There is a wave pool and my kids love it. -There is also a playground with pool for the kids like they can slide, swing, more fun activity. -We enjoyed the beach as well, same as the inflatable, jetski, kayak, banana boat -There is an acoustic bar at night, fire dance, parang nasa Bora ka na.

The staff was super attentive and courteous. I had a really nice time. The location is gorgeous and the food at the restaurant is delicious. Great value for the price. They have a pool and they do laundry for 50 pesos a kilo.

On checking in for 3 days I paid for my room cash up front and was shown my room. A few hours later received a text to say the room I was given was more expensive and I could either pay the difference or leave. After an argument I opted to pay the diff. but despite all the credit card signs on the counter the receptionist could not accept my card as she did not know how to operate the machine. I could not connect to the internet and was told if I looked on my key tag the password was there. However they soon discovered they had put the wrong password on my key. That night I found the new bedside lamp did not work, nor could I open the safe which was locked. The website stated tea and coffee were provided in the room, there was none, it also mentioned a bed cover or duvet, yet my bed had a single thin sheet. the bar fridge had a list of drink prices taped to the door, but was empty. The glass window was smashed and the broken glass held together with sticky tape (Picture provided !) On leaving I was told I did not need to pay the difference on the room !!
