3-Star Hotels in Calabarzon, Philippines

We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The location is perfect, and the hotel itself is clean and beautifully maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. The food was delicious, and the room was spacious and spotless. What really stood out was how accommodating the staff were to our needs as a family with a newborn. They thoughtfully placed us in a quiet part of the hotel, which made a huge difference in ensuring our baby could rest peacefully. I can’t recommend this hotel enough for anyone looking for a pleasant and stress-free stay, especially families. We will definitely be coming back!

My last visit was 2 years ago.. and yesterday I tried it again (Sept 11-12) When we arrived the room is not yet ready and waited for 20 mins before releasing the room. The FO duty gave me the WIFI password for 2 devices only. while waiting we already connected to the wifi however when we arrived at the room the signal is so week and no internet connection. We called assistance, the IT officer went to our room and check.. He offered other wifi connection but still not working.. He went to our room thrice but the connection is not FIXED. ” wala man lang pasensya na po Maam,. kasi ganito ganyan,,,... Ang sabi lang niya is ”Malakas naman po ang internet bakit kaya di naconnect?” Connected naman daw ang phone nya bakit samin ay hindi. Para sabihin ko lang din Hindi outdated ang phone namin and Samsung naman. I am telling you dis cuz ito din nagig problem ko from last stay ko.. And ngayon di pa padin nag babago, walang improvement. Second, BOTTLED WATER. Nilagay namin sa ref yung 2 tubig then nung iinumin na namin.. don lang namin napasin na bawas na pala ung isang bote. Then sakto may dumaan na housekeeping sinabi ko ung about sa tubig. and yes wala nanaman sinabing ”pasensya or whatsoever” wala kumuha lang sya ng tubig.. tinanong ko pala sya kung libre lang ba ung tubig kung mag add sabi nya OO so pinalitan naman nya ung tubig namin 4 na bote ang binagay nya.. so ito na nga Gabi na ubos na ang tubig namin,. tumawag ako sa FO to refill again the water and sabi is MAY BAYAD na daw. Php 70 isang bote ng Summit Water 500ML. WOW. I am also working sa hotel pero ang tubig is libre kahit gaano kadami ang hingin.. my bayad man ang tubig pero un is kung ung branded talaga na bottled water. 500 ml na summit is 15 pesos lang... So namahalan ako.. ginawa ko nag padeliver nalang ako. Third, Last day.. I ask the FOA if possible for late check out. 1PM lang naman.. Ang sagot lang nya sakin is ... Ay Maam, hindi ko po alam tatanong ko lang po sa Supervisor. But nung time na un is sya palang naak duty so sabi ko babalikan ko nalang sya.. So, Over all.. I think, NEED ng staffs nyo ng training on how to answer queries.complain,concern ng guets.. Okay naman ung hotel nyo sana kaso if ganon ang staffs nyo pumapangit ang Image.

Pros: Accessible location. The staffs were incredibly nice and friendly Value for money ( the view was so relaxing and the food was so delicious) Cons: There was a moment that the air smelled ”something” when we were at the pool. Though it's not the hotel's fault (seems to me that the bad smell was brought by air), it still affects the guests' experience.

I was staying for two nights in Tagaytay for a bit of a rest and to check out the Alternative Summer Capital of the Philippines as a possible place for retirement: Baguio is the official summer capital, but is a long drive north from Manila. The hotel has a good location on top of a ridge with views of Taal Lake and there is a shopping mall with restaurants on the other side of the road: best access is via pedestrian bridge, as the road is very busy. There are plenty of other restaurants within walking distance on both sides of the road. My room had two double beds (which was different I guess…lol) and an ensuite. The bed was comfortable enough, but there were brackets at the base (presumably for connecting another bed) which were savage ankle traps when returning from a nocturnal trip to the bathroom: I was rolling around in agony and probably exhausted my considerable vocabulary of swear words…hope there was no-one in the room next door! The bathroom was very average and the shower head / bottom spout setup was of a type I’d not encountered before: if you want to use the shower head you have to grab the nozzle of the bottom spout, then pull and twist. It was apparently faulty as after two tries they replaced the entire bottom spout, but it was still very difficult to use. The free WIFI was almost non-existent: I could not get a signal in my room and the only way to get a signal was to either stand in the doorway of my room, or sit at the table in the corridor…and speaking of the corridors, has anyone seen the movie The Shining? The corridors had an eery feeling and other reviews have made similar comments about being reminded of that film…lol The hotel was clean and pleasant enough, but a bit dated and could do with a refurbishment. I was entitled to free breakfasts for which I was grateful…local dishes, so it may not suit some Western tastes. There was a swimming pool, but it was too cold and windy to use. Staff were great!

The place looks like Santorini but like on top of a mountain where you can see the amazing view of Taal Volcano. The staff are so friendly and nice, we did not have a hard time checking-in. They are also helpful and provided us with great assistance throughout our stay. Will definitely go back.

We had a great time at Lee Boutique Hotel. We got the room for an online promo and here's a summary of our stay here: Upon arrival we were asked to scan a QR code for registration. A ₱2000 deposit was requested and they will give you a small paper to be presented upon check out. So don't forget to bring extra cash for the deposit. Location: 4/5 Hotel is just a few kilometers away from the rotunda. No view of Taal. Easy to access if travelling by car. Although there are tricycles everywhere so it's easy for commuters as well. Room: 5/5 What you see is what you get. We were honestly expecting a smaller room or something different but when we entered our room it was really spacious. The room didn't have any distinct smells. Complete with minibar, closet, tv, dining table, couch, electric kettle, bottled water, and instant coffee. Bathroom amenities include 2 dental kits, bar soap, shower gel, and shampoo. Our bathroom had a minor engineering concern but that can be forgiven. Cleanliness: 4.5/5 As part of the Hygiene Industry, we rarely rate a room 5 stars. It's not about how much chemicals you use, it's about making the guest feel and see that the room is clean. When you're a traveller and you enter a room, you just know that it's clean. Plus points for segregated trash bins (bio/non bio/hazardous). Staff: 5/5 Hotel staff are very friendly and accomodating.

We reserved last year of June 2023 here to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary. Supposedly to renew our vows in Tagaytay. But the Church and reception did not reply. Only this hotel replied and i adjusted my reservation because we wont be able to continue our renewal. We would like to consume the downpayment made in this hotel. Last year, no second thoughts i wanted here to have my prenup. The place is so beautiful and romantic. The staff are accommodating. We where upgraded to a Premier Rooom with balcony. The stay has plated breakfast you should try the longanisa. They have a small cute chapel we had pur short prayer to thank the Lord in having our 10th Year Wedding Anniversary. All in all this hotel is so memorable to us.

used to be called the bali village hotel, the new name is more apt and trendy. we stayed here for 5D/4N for a workshop conducted by our agency. we were billeted in rooms situated in north and south wings. ours was in south wing with defective electronic lock and so we were provided with a key to manually open it. our room smells nice, well lit, speedy internet connectivity, good bathroom amenities but lacks hooks inside to hang our towel & clothes. food was adequate and tastes alright. enough to actually bust our hunger and thirst. no hot tea, though. only coffee was the hot beverage available. parking was ample and the rich vegetation served as natural fence that protects trespassers from reaching in. swimming pool was not enticing enough to make us swim. nice ambiance, though.

✅ we went there via commute, the place is accessible and easy to find. ✅ staff are friendly and attentive ✅ hair dryer by request ✅ we tried the other resto, bella ciao, a bit pricey but at least their food was decent. ❎ very small room. feels like im staying at a motel. i requested for a room with balcony. the balcony was very small and has a view of i dont know how to describe it. ❎ the hotel resto, organico gourmet, is meh . we ate there upon checking in, my bbq tasted ok and tender. but on the other order, meat was very hard. there are items on the menu that were not available. the coffee is just sad. oh God why!? ❎ a father and son was stucked at the elevator when there was a power outage. they have a generator but i didnt feel the sense of urgency to help them get out of the elevator asap. i felt sorry for them esp for the toddler as he seemed traumatized by what happened and he kept on crying ❎ pool was small and not heated (considering it's location) but it was ok. until it got very crowded because it is shared with the tenants from the residential area (some rented it out as guests). i hope you do something about it. may be have a different pool exclusive for hotel guests only. shower area was far from the pool, doesn't have any written directions as to where it was. so some just went straight into the pool without showering first. it was also very slippery, so i suggest you put something on the floor to prevent accidents. the area behind the glass of the pool was very dirty . not enough resting area or tables and chairs where we can put our things. ❎ since there was no towel exclusive for pool use, we had to bring our towel from our room. i called front desk to ask for a new towel since the other one was soaked already because we used it to dry ourselves from the pool. they are charging 50pesos for an extra towel. i mean really? overall, it was a bit expensive hotel but the experience didn't match the price. sorry but i will never go back and will not recommend it to anyone.

This December I went on a business trip to this industrial area for a week. from landing at Manila airport, to entering the room, until returning to the airport at the end of the visit, everyone was helped by the hotel. the rooms are simple, small, clean and tidy. there is a hot and cold drinking water dispenser in front of the room. the breakfast is simple. the hotel staff are friendly, very helpful and very kind. memorable visit.

Staying here is somewhat a very rare experience. It is nearby the SM Batangas. With regards to their services, it is normal that sometimes due to scarcity of employee( only one employee is on the front desk ) , their services is not what you think to be that fast. One thing more there must be bucket and cup always available at the shower room/ comfort room to be used. There must be a water dispenser on every floors. Matbe thats all.

It was a quick birthday weekend with my kids who haven't been to Tagaytay and they have been wanting to see Taal Volcano. I am so glad I chose Splendido. Totally leaned on the positive reviews. From the staff to the WiFi, from the bed to the bathtub, and the view OMG everything was perfect. I love how the staff was available but not hovering. It was secure, safe and so peaceful! My third time in aquaria but first time staying overnight and it did not disappoint. Casobe just keeps on improving everytime we go back and its services never fail. We loved the cocoons, its good for stayinf overnight you wont really need a big room coz your out to play in aquaria and beach, but they made the cocoons so cozy and complete with towels, kettle , toiletries and coffee. Level up glamping i guess 😅 the shower and toilet is a common access but we didnt have any hassle at all it was clean! We'll definitely come back!

The hotel is beautiful, the surrounding view is stunning. We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. We sat at the poolside to watch sunset for 2 days. It was a very nice experience. We took so many pictures. Snorkeling at the seaside was also super enjoyable. The hotel provided snorkeling equipment and a guide who taught us how to snorkel and led us to swim to the area where we could see lots of colorful fish. The price of snorkeling and kayaking was already included in the room rate. All the staff are very friend and helpful. We enjoy the stay at the hotel very much. The only problem with our room was that the shower area was not fully covered by glass or a curtain, the whole floor of the bathroom got wet after a shower as water splashed out from the shower area.

My dog and I were actually celebrating our birthday during the stay. We arrived around 8:30pm as we had some errands before going to the resort. As for the room, WOW! So happy it’s just 1st floor and has breathtaking seaview since I have senior mom with me. The location is actually a little bit far but it’s understandable since it’s a diving spot. I really love that it’s almost a secluded place. The beach is not crowded and it’s beside the 5-star resort, so called Vivere. The service is great, however, the reception is so hard to reach. Their mobile number is not working, I think? Plus the telephone in the room. ‘Cause everytime I dial, it doesn’t push through. Just a suggestion, since the front desk is not 24/7, atleast improve the communication service with the reception using other platform like social media or messaging app to address guests’ concern. Cleanliness, it’s good but I spotted some stains in the linens, particularly with the duvet cover and flat sheet. It was an old stain which I think laundry can no longer remove it. But it didn’t bother me at all, so long it’s not blood. For the amenities, highly recommended! You don’t have to look for anything else because they have it in the hotel. I just hope that the elevator soon will be available (one of the staff told us). Also, kudos to the one who assisted us when we arrived. I wasn’t able to get his name but maybe he’s from HK Dept. I appreciated how he’s happy to help us eventhough we have to go down 200+ steps and go up as well. I think he was also one of the staffs who carried our things when we checked-out. :) For the resto, food was awesome and the staffs are easy to approach :) Overall, I will recommend it and surely will comeback, not just for leisure but for diving (as I’m planning to push Scuba soon). I was in CaSoBe with my family in February 2024. It has been a great holiday! The sea view from our cabin, the beach sunsets and the big swimming pools were a hit. The personnel of the resort were really friendly and always ready to answer our needs and questions. In particular, I would like to mention Mr. Alexis, who accompanied us in some trips around the area. He has been so kind and friendly with us and our kids and showed us all the best spots to visit, allowing us to experience the real Filipino life and tastes. A special thanks also to Marcus, from the resort management, who contributed to make our holiday memorable. We highly recommend Calatagan South Beach resort for any visitor who likes to find a clean, friendly and relaxing environment for his holiday. We hope to be able to go back sometime! Chiara

Stayed here From April 10 to the 22 to be close to family. Hotel very clean,staff very friendly and courteous. Buffet breakfast was VG included and the food was good. Had dinner with family and friends few nights in the kubo. Food came in hot and delicious. They have a bar that serves a great run and coke beer among others. We tried the Cafe Ysab as well and it was good. Ròof deck is a must see for the 360 view of the city and the mountains. WiFi is good. Great place to stay when in Lipa. Hope to return again in the future.

I have been a staying at Jet Hotel since 2020. What a relief for. A hotel of this kind to be in Lipa. Classy enough. But affordable. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and cozy. I definitely enjoy the bed and pillows and how comfortable they are. Since I travel for business, the rooms have a perfect set up for working remotely as well. I cnnot count the number of hours I spent in virtual meetings and administrative work I have done in my room. It is so far the best affordable hotel in Lipa since I started traveling to Batangas for the past 7 years. Although through the years some amenities may need updating and fixing, specifically in the bathroom. Some shelves in the bathroom need fixing, and some seals in the shower will have to be repaired. But all in all, Jet is still the best to stay in.
